Day 5! Keeping focused

 

Day 0:
Was on day 10 earlier. Did a couple outreach calls with fellows from my 12 step fellowships. Shared about some of my early childhood sexual traumas and felt kinda tense and anxious. After my last call of the evening we decided to take turns reciting the ACoA promises before closing the call with a serenity prayer. I opened like my 500th unclosed tab. Def no porn but it went to overwrite a way earlier tab I had open of Tiffany’s engagement rings. Reminded me of my one true love whom I lost to my porn use and destructive behavior. When we broke up I told her I needed 3 months to get sober. That was 3 years ago and I’m sober from substance now but still not porn. Anyway when I went to type Tiffany’s back in my browser after the call i imagined I’d reminisce fondly for a moment of that happier time but instead my safari history autogenerated an old porn site I had once visited and apparently not cleared out with a similar name in the title. I resisted at first then clicked the bait and fell into a binge. Here I am 4 hours and 4 yolks later resetting my streak once more.
