  4. 4 days free of PMO.
I tried to sleep on the couch yesterday just because I was lazy. I tried but after an hour I had to switch to the bed.
I looked at the time on the phone and got the urge to look for P. I did try to search but my blocker gave me enough time to get to my senses.
That was lucky. I will be putting my phone in a drawer at night. I do that anyway just forgot yesterday.

On other topics, I have new two personal bests at the gym.
120 kg squat and 145 kg deadlift. I am very happy with these numbers and I will keep improving.

    @Toni7 congratulations on ascending brother!
@kingdawoo I agree. @Redemptionisrequired had given me some good advice on this.
Basically that I shouldn't be oblivious to wider discourses in society or not have an opinion on my own.
But that after some point letting all that discord and drama into my head is a waste of time. I am more peaceful for taking that advice.

    Checking in Saiyan's!

    25 day's Free of PMO.

Better day today, I'm just going to return to basics for the next little while and increase my meditation time.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the cacao i've been using has contributed to heightened levels of feeling on edge, stopped today so we'll see.

    Keep training!

@kingdawoo , it's as our brother @Against_the_demon_in_myself says. Best to let these ideologies go, be aware of them but no need to further consume information on them, once you have to general grasp. It's a senseless fight which takes away from your inner peace.

    Day66 check in.
All good urges wise. I may be in flatline, looking at women without sexual arousel whatsoever.
A difficult period coming my way in a couple of days in the form of a holiday in a warm place. Will need to keep my distance and remember why I am doing this reboot.

Not much actually; I've seen a few things what AI can generate in code but I think it's still a very long way to go before they can replace all aspects of us as a developer. I see for instance that my most valuable work that I deliver has nothing to do with writing the right code quickly but more approaching things holistically, at the right time and the right increment. That's something you cannot catch in an algorithm I believe.

Actually I am looking forward to spend less time in writing the same code over and over again in (slightly) different situations or adjusting existing code. I can think much faster than I can write / adjust code, so if I can safe time there to let an AI generate it for me, I can increase my productivity immensely.

And if I would be replaced by AI in the type of work I am doing now, I am confident I'll find something else as a job that I can do. Call me cocky but I know I'll always find a way.

Trying to search = relapse. Sorry brother but you activated the porn pathways. Be an honest but tough and relentless coach for yourself. Only way to heal is to go through it.

    Day 133

Things are going really really well compared to when I started this challenge: I sleep (very) peacefully, wake up refreshed and confident, relaxed and am productive at everything I do.
Since I've kicked out my TV and not use my phone and laptop after 8PM and only allow myself to walk, read a book or just be with myself / meditate I noticed I start feeling tired around 9PM. I now go to bed at around 10PM and wake up refreshed around 6AM. The electronic devices at night kept me awake longer than my natural circadian rithm preferred. Now that I do not have that stimulus I feel much better following my natural rithm.

Major improvements I now feel compared to the first few weeks in December last year:
    - Much much better sleep
    - Able to read a lot better: Just after relapse I could hardly motivate myself to read 2 pages in one sitting, now I read about 300/400 pages per week next to a fulltime job, 4x gym, 2x dancing, etc.)
    - Much much more focus, productivity and enjoyment at work, in the gym and at dancing classes
    - More peace of mind: I can enjoy myself perfectly by just sitting on my sofa for a couple of hours after a productive day (working, training, etc.)
    - Zero urges, absolutely zero. I sometimes have a slight thought about visiting an escort site. But I almost immediately loose interest by just reminding myself how disgusting, dangerous and most of all disrespectful it is to myself

And I am now dating a woman who is not even close to what I always strived for physically (due to my porn (ab)use) but now I still find attractive, have great and intimate sex with and just enjoy being with or hugging / touching. I feel now much more sensitive to the subtle real things in life now my brain is less desensitized by porn.

And since there are some gym rats here as well. I'd also boast a bit about my gym PR's. I am now 38, only 172cm (5"7) and not even 84 kg (185 pounds). But I managed to set some nice lifts:
185 kg squat, 250 kg deadlift and a 140 kg bench press all with still a bit of strength left in the tank. Will go for a 190/195,260 and 145 coming weeks to finalize my peak block :)

I remember last year that I was also working towards a nice peak and ended with a 3x240 on the deadlift. A week later I relapsed and my strength dropped to a hard grinder on a single with 240... how much more evidence do you want to have that porn is bad for you?

Hopes this will inspire you all to fight the good fight. And altough I've been on a successful streak for over 133 days now, I too have relapsed countless times from when I started to quit this addicition way back in 2015. Just remember to never give up and always be forgiving to yourself when you do relapse.

Wise words brother, the insights here are stellar. The fapping seems to be a stress release mechanism for when other parts of life aren’t working resonates with me. Being a fapstronaut is only one piece of the puzzle. Changing environmental factors has a lot to do with it also. Keep up the great work!

You’re really onto something here brother. The narratives and stories about expressing emotion. Being human! Also great work clearing away the boxes by the piano! Music has been an integral part of my healing work also.
