I've done lots of research, and realized fapping literally destroys the human body

I've been going on 4+ months of complete NoFap, No pmo at all. Used P for 3years max then I myself realized what and how much problem it has created to encourage me to do nofap..
One thing or I can confidenty say '' the final stretch '' for me is to relax my nervous system. As I m writing this I m calm but deep inside I can feel an anxiety, its like subconscious anxiety which I still couldn't figure out how to calm it. I can pinpoint where it is mostly felt- its in the area between windpipe and throat. You can understand this feeling if I say how would you feel your throat when you are thirsty but keep running from a danger like a shooter. ''thirsty and dry''. Hope u understood. I did and still doing relaxing practices. I drink a lot of water.. Still man I cant get rid off it. Can you guys help me out here how to calm my nerves down? and teach them literally teach them to Shut up, u nerves are safe.?

Sorry this is a late reply, but I've found cardio really helps with mental health (anxiety, depression etc) along with no junk food. Weight training can also be beneficial but the benefits aren't as immediate as cardio for helping anxiety.

Thanks for sharing.. But this problem has been sorted out for me. Basically, its the massive withdrawal symptoms that came when I started NoFap. As I remained intact with fewer and fewer relapses, It started to disappear. But, I must warn myself here too that it can return whenever I go back to porn and this old habit

Very Interesting and eye opening info.. When I was in my runs in those days, I saw my hair was weaker and during shower a lot of hair used to fall off, and even when I just combed my hair, I saw the comb get stuffed with my hair.
But now after a long, I mean long abstinence from especially masturbating, I dont face this hair falling problem, I never noticed it getting alright, but today I came to know. Thanks to u bro

Is regular sex good or does it have side effects as listed in the studies?

From what I've read, sex with a partner releases different percentages of chemicals and can raise testosterone. Though would still satiate the androgen receptors needs to express or uptake testosterone. I've also read of someone (can't remember if it was on here) so had very frequent sex with prostitutes or escorts and it apparently turned them into an anxious wreck.

I think sex with a partner is certainly safer, but personally would try to moderate that too, especially if pursuing some physical goal (fat loss, better performance in sports etc)

So, it might be that too much sex in any form is not good, but there might be a good frequency?

Chronic fapping can decrease the level of androgen receptors *in the brain* which will not affect things like voice depth or hair growth.

    Everything with excess is bad.
This may help you, because your sexuality is something personal, there is not an absolute answer in how, or how much (for instance, who says how much icecream and wich is the best icecream you should eat? It is something subjective). So, is the frecuency interrupting other things you have to do? Is the frecuency bringing you problems? Is the frecuency bringing you joy, happiness, sadness? Is it devaluating you or your partner or is it improving yourself?

I think this research is true. I have been trying to get my fat percentage down these last few weeks doing intermediate fasting but to no avail. I am losing weight but my fat percentage is is still the same from when I started. This has happened at the same time my addiction seemed to have gotten worse so I think that is the culprit.

I was just reading about carnitine, it seems a lot of hormonal processes in the body work both ways.

So fasting, protein intake etc can help raise carnitine levels, higher carnitine can help raise androgen receptors and testosterone uptake.

On the other hand, PMO/masturbation blocks androgen receptors, which greatly lowers testosterone uptake which greatly lowers carnitine in skeletal muscle, and with it fat loss.

(Long chain fatty acids cannot be oxidized for energy without carnitine as cannot pass the mitochondrial membrane)

When I had covid the first time, I didn't eat much for a week or two, I also completely stopped PMO, I lost a surprising amount of bf%

Yeah I believe so, in the past I could only see a girlfriend every weekend due to work and her still living with a parent. We would do what couples do a lot when together and then not see each other during the week (no PMO at this time). This didn't seem to have any negative impact healthwise (weight, exercise, mental). Whereas in personal experience, PMO was bad for muscle gain and fat loss amongst other things. But I'd imagine intercourse everyday, it'd start to have similar negative affects to PMO. Testosterone wouldn't be able to transcribe to DNA properly with AR's always reduced.

That's interesting, have you had an opportunity to physically engage with a partner and does that have a similar affect to a screen?

Normally habits or wiring should be reversible with time.

I have gotten that when starting out on a streak, especially after "noticing' beautiful women.
it goes away after a while.

well whe you think about it

humans have limited time on earth

    we are dying every day

everything you do is ware and tare

all our organs have an expiration date

so yea pmo a fairly reactive demanding activity for the body because of the loss and replenish aswell as things like loss of sleep dehydration etc etc

    aswell as the compulsive nature

is going to use some of your life force

but the testosterone thing is not true

testosterone actually increases during masterbation and sex before dropping back to baseline .

there are other hormones at play that make you think post O you feel weak which is prolactin and oxytocin these then return to baseline

why do you think you just get hormy again after 2 days NoFap

bro why do you even think your a porn addict lmao

if your body was so badly destroyed and testosterone so low . then why the hell are we all seeing posts every other day

"HELP I THINK IM GOINA RELAPSE"

everything is wear and tare on the bodys life force.

but humans can fuck for days

stop watching porn you get horny again in a matter of days .

keep watching porn you flood the body with prolactin and oxytocin and wana go for a nap .

the body likes equilibrium and it will try to get you there

age will always play a factor its just the hours on the clock.

pmo doesnt lower testosterone it effects other hormone's that numb a sexual response.

its like a buffer otherwise humans would probably fuck 24/7 and die lol
humans are not in invincible we have to eat and sleep to survive so why would anything else be any different
