I wanted to start this form to talk about the positive effects of abstaining from a habit that is truly a waste of time! I'd like for people to share what they are doing with their reclaimed time now that we are not staring at a screen for hours on end! For me it's been nothing short of amazing.

At 42, I'm very new to this and I am only on day number 21 of my 30 day goal or longer. I am discovering that I have tons of "extra" time to pursue the normal things in life that I was previously neglecting due to P. The strange thing is, as I slowly became more and more addicted to P, I didn't realize how how socially withdrawn I was slowly becoming. It was a very insidious onset to say the least, so I was not aware of the slow but progressive change. I am an extroverted person, so people began to notice my change over the years (and maybe decades).

Anyway... I'm hoping this form will provide an outlet to speak about what we are doing now that we have reclaimed precious time, and this maybe a great way to share some best practices as well.

Good luck to all of you, and please message me as often as needed, as I love feedback!

    Stay strong!!!!!

I have abstained for 30 days before, and then 45 days, but I always seem to relapse. I go a couple weeks here and there without P. But the important thing is that I'm making progress, and indeed I am becoming more productive over the long-term. Basically my mind is more clear and fluid and I can organize my time better because I am not worrying about how I am going to masturbate, or when. It is great. I am going for the 90 day "reboot"

Great point on your mind being clear because you're not worried about PMO stuff! I totally get it! Nice work!
