Actually, yes. I would say that (for me) after about 3-4 months, sex occupied my thoughts only about 50% of the time, rather than the 100% it did before. While this may sound somewhat sarcastic, it's serious- having 50% less temptation was a huge relief! Also, up to that point I was hyper-focused on recovery (it was #1 priority over everything including work and family). I tackled it like I was living in a recovery facility which was very difficult and tiring; but by doing this, i began developing new habits and behaviors, and "autopilot" tools which helped to deal with the remaining 50% of temptations.
