Made it to day 5. Stressful end of week. Beer then depression then fapping ... bad weekend. I made a bunch of bad choices that chained into a failed challenge.

Have not O'd since I took the challenge but did a little bit ... enough ... of everything else. Starting over.

I know what the bad choices are and what I will do instead next time.

0/90 ... I'll be at 4/90 when I next go out with Cait which is better than where I am today.

The analogy to heroin is very fitting. One has to remember that if you are addicted, you have to be on guard for the rest of your life. It is possible to stay sober, but not while being around triggers and stuff. Rewiring is real, but takes a long time and is notoriously hard.

Porn vendors are the drug pushers of our times. You'd hate to see heroin being sold to kids in streets, but porn is available to everyone, often with as much as a single tap or click. Age verification on porn sites is total BS, as we know all too well. I wonder if policy makers will ever realize the harm to the society that porn has already caused. Just look at so many reports of young guys having PIED. F*** this shit. Stay clean and sober, guys, keep up the fight.
Thanks buddy. I totally agree, like smoking ads were banned from TV and magazines in the 70s once the government realized how much harm it was doing to people, let alone the cost to Medicare.

254/276 Good Days (no relapse)
Longest streaks 67 then 51 ( 4 years later)
Current Challenge 2/90 (ends on my 1 year anniversary here)
Day 86 weight training (3X/wk)
Day 25 reduced alcohol, caffeine and sugar
- not doing too well on the no sugar and no caffeine but haven't had much to drink since my son's birthday back in Aug.
- exercise is going well and do it religiously
- started wood working as a hobby to get my mind off porn which seems to help already as I am feeling better about myself and level of productivity
- feeling good resolve as this is my last chance to complete this 90 day challenge within the one year goal I set for myself
- I CAN DO IT!!!
Your brother in this struggle

Wow, you are on fire! 39 days is nothing to balk at! Keep going, bro! You can easily make 90 days. Have you made it there before? I haven't after 4 years of trying but this time is different. I feel success is immanent. As you said, no peaking is the key, as it's a slippery slope back to PMO.

my record is 55 days, but in the last streaks i´m feeling more confident (not too much though) and skilled so i know that i will make great numbers. this time it may even be my last pmo ever, fingers crossed :emoji_fingers_crossed::emoji_fingers_crossed::emoji_fingers_crossed: :)

let´s go my brother!!!

yeah, i remember when i was young, in the video clubs there was a lot of secrecy and safety concerning adult movies. only adults could aproach the bench.

now, with a pc and internet you can´t get all the porn your want. it´s completely insane and extremely dangerous, especially for young boys whose brains are developing. PIED, fatigue, angriness, bitterness, obsessive jealousie, sexual obsession... internet porn is causing so much damage that it´s hard to measure the real impact that it´s causing on society.

i think there should be estrict measures to control acess to porn sites. a real control, not a freeway.
