Hi guys Recently I don't sleep well. I'm constantly thinking, my brain can't stop even during sleep. My sleep is very light and I constantly wake up. It's not that my thoughts are of secual nature, it's more that I'm stuck in “work„ mode and can't wind down. I feel like my compulsive thinking is draining my entire energy. Does anyone have experienced this? Anyway I'll start meditating again and see if this helps.
I would suggest taking a sleep aid like Z-Quil before going to sleep. Do something to clear your mind and just relax awhile before lying down, and make sure you have at least 8 hours to sleep. If that doesn't work, I'd alk to a doctor about getting something stronger, like Ambien.
Do breathing exercises before sleeping, and before meditating. The breathing exercises have the additional benefit of transmuting the sexual energy.
Some non-prescription sleep aids that work: Melatonin Valerian root Sleepy Time Extra tea (contains valerian) Ashwagandha L-Theanine I don't recommend antihistamines like benadryl as they often don't work and leave you groggy.
