Day 7 - Heavy Emotions

    Hi, I have tried nofap hundreds of times and failed throughout the years. I recently turned 23 and haven’t relapsed since day before my birthday.

    This is day 7 for me and I feel very emotional. I recently had a conversation with my boss regarding my employment and I had the courage to say what I wanted to say but it was hard to speak for some reason? I was very emotional but I held up alright overall. I’m usually not emotional so this was very annoying for me.

    I understand that fapping must’ve suppressed my past-self but I want to know how long this heightened emotion will last. Will it stop being this intense as the days go on?

    I also had the same thing happen recently. I became very emotional right after beginning my journey.
    Of course it will subside. No feelings last forever.
    Think of it this way. These emotions were always there. Just instead of overpowering and stifling them with the rush of PMO, you are giving them air. What are the emotions trying to tell you?
