What do you guys do after having sex with another human being? Since I reached orgasm I am thinking of resetting my counter back to 0. But then again, there were no porn or masturbation involved. Thanks.

It depends what your goal is. If you are doing hard mode and abstaining from PMO then sex with a partner would technically be considered a relapse.

However, it is widely acknowledged that physical human intimacy as opposed to online porn can actually be helpful in the rebooting process as it rewires your brain to enjoy real human contact, which is perfectly healthy.

Personally I'm attempting no PMO for 90 days to give my penis and a well earned break but I know lots of people are seeing great improvements just my quitting PM and still orgasming.

As I said, all down to personal aims

Good luck bro

No need to reset the counter if u had sex

its not about the sex.

Its about fantasy and being present with your partner. If you are not fantasising about porn and are present with her, then this isnt a relapse (unless you are doing hard mode). If you are daydreaming of some porn scene however, then you are relapsing IMHO.

Bulls eye...absolutely correct

Thanks for the feedback, guys!

I notice that the idea of being intimate with an actual person is motivating me to quit porn and masturbation.

I also see the benefits of a hard reboot, basically a sex detox. Though I'm worried that suddenly going without sex for too long might actually have a negative effect. I tend to feel deprived and resentful, which drives me back to PMO.
