Does anyone feel this way about women?

I know this is off topic but I personally wouldn't have changed your avatar, especially since there was nothing wrong with it at all. I think people in general need to understand that there are reasonable triggers and unreasonable triggers. The reasonable ones deserve consideration, but no one on this site
should ever feel pressured into giving into someone's unreasonable trigger issues.

Yes we're here to help each other, but I don't see how this is being accomplished by making this place an unrealistic "safe place". In fact I think we're crippling users by doing this.

I was being mistaken for a few other people, so I changed it to myself, and I woke up to quite a few emails, SOs and PAs saying my picture was to attractive to be on site.
I kinda giggled since it was my "morning mugshot" & a split second decision yesterday.
I don't want to cause anyones relapse as I am here to support my SO.
So I changed it back.
The person who mistook me apologized, even tho he wasn't the first to do so.
But I hope this is all clear, now.

 

This will be my last response to the issue, but I feel it needs to be said. If your avatar had overly sexual material then, yes, you should take it down to help others. That I get and that I understand; however, if their trigger sensitivity is so high they cannot look at another persons face then you should never feel guilty for causing a relapse. There's an ignore feature members can utilize which will allow your user profile and image to be hidden from sight. If they know they have such sensitivity issues when it comes to triggers then they need to utilize the sites features to avoid a relapse instead of pressuring members to change their none sexual avatars. Either that or NoFap just needs to make a rule that no real pictures of users will be allowed on this site.

I am 17 and when I think of women I view them as humans but at the same time, I think about how awesome it would be to have sex with them. Firstly, I think of women as humans first because I really want to gain their trust, and friendship so in the future, you can have sex with them at the right moment. Also, women ca be really fascinating when you get to know them as a person. This will bring your sexual tension up with them, and you will be more attracted to them resulting in better sex. So my advice as a teenager is to not be a fuck boy because girls really do not like them, and most of the time they want a guy that will care for them, and not use them for sex only. Get through your head that having sex with a girl comes second in a relationship, and friendship comes first. Tell me what you think about this advice.

 

I appears to me that this forum, dominated by men, is a good example of what can happen when you have too little balance between male and female. Sometimes its good, because men can work together and do good things, but on some topics it can get pretty ugly.

When men try to dismiss half the human race as unworthy of anything but a few selfish thrusts you end up with a real lopsided perspective. Thanks to you women for wading into all this testosterone and contributing, we need it.

@RedPillRebooter and everyone else, I'm not looking for likes or attention but I don't appreciate how you view women. I think that it is demeaning and degrading. Think about this, would you like it if all you're seen as someone's object to be used when wanted and discarded when not wanted, a mere object with no feelings? I am about eight and half months no MO and technically 3 months no P although I wasn't searching for it and I wasn't experiencing any pleasure whatsoever. I guess I have a unique case because I have no desire for anything or anyone even remotely sexual. I'm disgusted by it now to be honest. I have learned that I had disrespect for women and I am working on it and I hope that you learn to value women as more than just sexual objects and as someone rightfully pointed out imagine if it was your daughter.

 

I must say that the media has also played a large part in it along with our sex positive society where people ostracize you for wanting purity. However generalizing all women is not ok. Not all women are like that.
Do you know that there are things called STD's and don't tell me about condoms because they don't protect you very well and also do you know that when you sleep with someone you are basically sleeping with everyone they have slept with?

I don't understand what you having a high score has to do with your opinion being more valid than other's? Neither I understand how that would make you any more moral? I've seen you say this in other treads too "you are wrong because I have higher score of days than you". Knowledge, logic, or subjective opinions has nothing to do with it.

Somebody for example could train to squat 500 pounds by using some generic info they found on Google for free in 30 minutes and somebody else maybe have went and studied exercise science in university for 3 years, yet is not doing strengthen training at all cos maybe they are marathon runner. Does that mean buff guy knows more about exercise science and other guy's opinion is less valid? No. That's ridiculous.

What we are talking here is philosophy. You have your's and they have theirs. Of course we don't talk at the level of Plato or Confucius here. But you would not see a guy back in those days when they are debating on a stage saying "yea, well you are wrong cos your dick's small". Sure, some of those people might have misunderstood you or even maybe are just entitled, arrogant assholes who think they are better than everybody else who's moral standards does not mach theirs. This section was become way too negative. Let's use the summer for a nice holiday and to recharge. People that are rebooting should be left at peace, you don't want anyone to blame you for relapses either. Just help and encourage, that's it.

As for women - take it or leave it. Me personally after 90 days I will just go out there and start conversations with everyone. If there is a connection, cool, make it happen if not also cool.
