After still recovering from PMO from the beginning of 2020 and only finding major progress in change from the past 18 months or so, I can definitely admit that pornography can make you feel trapped and hopeless. When you are right in the thick of the problem, it’s like there’s no light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to beating this issue in your life. During that time, you can experience the doubt and shame of not knowing when it will end and the fear of judgment if you mention it to those close you; even friends and family.
That’s why, in this thread, I am urging people to reach out for help if they feel stuck in life. It doesn’t always have to be much, it could be talking to a trained counsellor on a helpline service or someone else of that level. Whatever it takes to reach a higher level of recovery and change, do it.
