So let me start from the beginning.Before this I was 90+ days off masturbation but not of porn , sometimes I even came really close to ejaculation but I never actually did (except in wet dreams) but then i don't know something weird happened and my brain started thinking that I am now fully under control and doing it one time....just one time won't be a problem So i did what I never should have done...i ejaculated.Then I said alright "It's just a relapse no need to worry, you have gained experience and everything will be normal" .This was a big lie i told myself and next day i again relapsed.I repeated those same words and again next day i relapsed .Now this time i was really pissed off ...I said "What the hell is wrong with me!(because all those guilt flooded back)"...I said that because I was extremely guilty.
At that moment i decided that it won't happen again.I just started using noFap and I found it extremely helpful and from that day till now..i am off masturbation and porn.
So here are the things that I have learned!
1.Find one particular time when you mostly ...you know...and just try to stay busy at that time.(for me its mostly night ...so try sleeping early)
2.Don't listen to your brain (Its evil..) Listen to you conscience .There is always a conflict going on between your brain and conscience.Your brain reminds you of the articles and those Yahoo answers which say Masturbation is safe! and when you just start listening to it .Its gives you false hopes (Go! masturbate otherwise you'll have Prostate Cancer )...it convinces you more and more until you finally do this .When your brain is convincing you there is another guy who reminds you of NoFap..and those guilt feelings and tells you don' t fall in his trap!(Your Conscience) Just listen to this guy and i can say you won't relapse ever(But remember your brain is more powerful so just don't fall in his trap ).
3.Do it for a Reason.You are more likely to succeed if you have a strong reason behind leaving it (Believe me those Guilt feelings and those side effects are not strong)
Like if you are a student like me you you can think of it like ...I need to stop wasting this time and i should better prepare for my finals...
4.Don't even think about it.Try keeping your mind away from bringing any porn thoughts ..if you see your brain is throwing those thoughts right at your face just ..try multiplying 13 and 79 in your head ......Just kidding try getting busy.
5.Passing Hard days gets the half job done.The hardest days are the first few days because you brains makes to add today's relapse guilt with yesterday's relapse guilt.It kinda says to you "Hey! bro do it today only as you did yesterday because when your future self will ask you why did you relapse,you can answer him...i was guilty man! it happened in flow".
These are few things which i learned i these past days..So i hope these tips helped you guys ...and i am sorry for my English..emoji_person_with_blond_hair:i am not a native).Hope all of you guys reach 1000+ days.
