Long period of wannabe holy living

Hi
I am a Catholic christian and I have tried to live like a saint for a period of a time. We catholics try to be christians who do not break marriages. So therefore we do not let the desires of the flesh control us very much actually. Desires of the flesh include for example masturbation, what this forum is about.
I have lived a life like a catholic my whole life but I found that I really can relate to you guys on this forum. I am happy that this forum exists because the struggle against the desires of the flesh are important for us catholics but also for other christian denominations.
I just thought about sharing this musicvideo from Thelonelyisland called: Jizz in my pants. Because the musicvideo is really inspiring to conquer the willpower against the flesh in a way. The song is not catholic because of the nightclub setting but the guys really play a role similar to that of everyday saints (edit: It is about nocturnal emissions, what I meant is similar to people who are saints, thats all, maybe not so similar afterall).

What about your take on Christianity and the masturbation temptation?

 

I have changed my topicpost because our saints have only nocturnal emissions and thats what I find similar to one of the guys in the video (Jorma). It is actually a comedy about ejaculation when people are awake and asleep. I still find the video a bit inspiring for no PMO undertakings.
