Yes it did get worse but I think the streaks I have had make it better cos I recover a bit quicker between 2 - 3 weeks, I had excessive gas, an uneasy stomach causing loss of appetite even if I eat I don't it like usual and IBS

I can tell you for sure that PMO causes this as well. Myself I fart all the time after relapse that is why I’m here in this thread. I recently was thinking about how this is unacceptable. I have officially become the Fart Guy. New low for me. Oh I just gave one out real fast.

And what improvements should we get out off just eating meat? Not hostile, just wondering..

Well all you need to do is let your body heal itself. If you chewe enough and let your body consume it shoulden't have anything that you are allergic to. Like you have in bread milk any other procces food. And meat is full food so you pretty much can live on it with salt and water. And not drinking after the meal.
Its up to people. I never did it.
But if you want to know you could listen to Mikhaila Peterson about her diet. She calls it lions diet. She talks about how her aweful state was healed by that diet. But I guess that can not be meat full of hormones from factories.

    Thanks for sharing your experience.

For how many years have you been addicted to PMO? How soon did your digestive symptoms emerge? Do your symptoms improve the longer you abstain from PMO?

I started when I was like 13. I'm now 35. When I abstain every part of me becomes better. from the quality of my hair to my toenails. Everything just gets better. Palpitations disappear, digestion is better, crazy fart days stop etc.

70 or so days in and the issue is correcting itself again, for the first two months I was basically pooping yoghurt.

If it wasn't for knowing about nofap, I'd likely have been prescribed all kinds of pills, tests and specialised diets by now. None of which would have made the slightest bit of difference.

My experience is very similar to yours. It usually takes 2-3 months of NoPMO for my digestive health to improve / normalize. After all it took a few decades of PMO to develop this disorder. I think it may take a least 1-2 years of abstinence to achieve full remission.

If you've checked your health extensively and didn't identify any infections, disorders, diseases and etc. Then your long-term PMO addiction could be behind your digestive issues.

You may want to give it at least 1 month (better 2) and see if your digestion improves.

No doubt. 96% of ailments of an addict are from the addiction

You may have low stomach acid (hypochlorhydria). Try supplementing Betaine HCL with pepsin + broad-spectrum digestive enzymes with each meal, and see if your symptoms improve. Also, consider checking your fasting blood gastrin.

Then your stomach acidity may be normal. Have you tested for H. Pylori infection?

Gastrin is a hormone produced by “G-cells” in the part of the stomach called the antrum. It regulates the production of acid in the body of the stomach during the digestive process. This test measures the amount of gastrin in the blood to help evaluate an individual with recurrent peptic ulcers and/or other serious abdominal symptoms.

YES, chronic PMOing/addiction is extremely overstimulating and causes all kinds of inflammation and god knows what else.

What’s weird is that I started to experience digestive issues when I was 21-23. This was when I was deep into the PMO every single day. But I assumed it was always fiber because my stools weren’t good. I took a fiber supplement and my stools were better, so I never assumed it was PMO.

The fact that doing NoFap was the cure to your digestive issues is interesting.

I just signed up to the forum because I do believe there is something to this, particularly when we consider the gut/brain axis.

I've also read that excessive fapping can result in sympathetic nervous system dominance, and from what I've gathered is that in such a state, blood flow to the digestive system decreases, so naturally long-term this becomes an issue.

It could be a coincidence, but I noticed since I became more dependant on PMO, and have longer more intense sessions (nothing freaky), my health has spiralled, and I am in a constant state of fight/flight, which intensifies my digestive issues.

So many random people in this forum and so many of them are Scientists and Doctors.
    It's a miracle!

Thank you OP for the great opportunity to read your unpublished paper "Long-Term PMO Addiction Contributes to Digestive Disorders (Gastritis, IBS, SIBO, Dysbiosis)" as one of the world's first.
