Long-Term Addiction to PMO May Contribute to Digestive Disorders (Gastritis, IBS, SIBO, Dysbiosis)

    1. Do you have links to any videos that discuss or elaborate on The Disposable Soma Theory and Expensive Germline Hypothesis?
    2. In your opinion (or from your experience), if P/M/O is stopped indefinitely, does the body start to re-prioritize health/looks/energy?

I was able to significantly improve my IBS (almost cured). This also involved various dietary and lifestyle changes. However, if I go back to my old ways (PMO), some of my IBS symptoms tend to return despite those changes. In other words, a healthy diet, supplements and low stress levels cannot keep it a bay without SR / NoPMO. Cannot have a healthy digestion and metabolism with a long-term addiction to PMO.

I always say future scientists will see this forum as a diamond mine when they find this page to gather knowledge. PMO affect everything in your body, bones, nerves, stomach, heart, brain, eyes, knees, skin, teeth, arteries etc. I have a heart disease situation and still haven’t been able to stop this thing. It so powerful and underrated.

I've been struggling with IBD and chronic fatigue syndrome for a long time. Wanting to really give this a shot.

I've managed to kick alcohol and drugs. Almost 18 months sober. Been TRYING to do nofap for... a decade, actually. My longest streak is something like 32 days. So frustrating. But I was deep in addiction then. Now there's a different context. I'd really like to heal my digestion, heal my brain... Life isn't getting any longer. Thanks for making this thread, it's been helpful and inspiring to me.

The truth is you will have to get rid of this addiction permanently to cure IBS and/or other conditions/symptoms it had caused or contributed to.

Significant symptomatic improvements: 30+ days of NoPMO (based on my personal experience) along with a healthy diet (animal-based), regular physical exercise (gym), no alcohol, no smoking, good sleep, low stress levels and etc.

Full remission: 12+ months of NoPMO (according to some anecdotal evidence and studies of brain injury recovery time in drug addicts).

  9. What specifically? Lifting? Cardio? Would the requirement depend on the person or are there recommended general guidelines?

Is this also based on your personal experience or are you not there yet?

My IBS symptoms would typically subside after 2-3 months no PMO, that then became 3-4 months and on this current streak it took 5 months so clearly it is progressive and relapsing just makes it even longer to recover from the next time. Most days now it's 90% better if not 100%, with the occasional minor flare-up. Diet, sleep and exercise level have no bearing on symptoms for me. No one can tell me it's not linked to PMO, unless you think I'm able to psyche myself into months of diarrhea every time I engage with it.

  11. I used to have various digestion issues but most for me were related to constipation. I've suspected a correlation to PMO for a long while now. For me, though, the primary concern has to do with food intolerances of which I have several. No one in my family has any and that includes the last several generations. I know I've dealt with gut permeability and very much think it was caused by decades of edging.

I am following nofap from 6 months (not watched porn from 3 months , no urges , nothing)
    My digestive issues are better.
Constipation is 90% gone , some times it gets back , but my weight is only 44.8
It is not increasing, and I am not able to eat many things like - peanut banana milk some fruits like apple they cause me problem indigestion
On a basis Indian diet only 2 meals a day

Also have shortness of breathing it have also 50 percent improved , but it is there

    Also have hairfall
Nightfall is also there , last month was good only 2 nightfalls.

I want to know how more it will take for time it will take.

  13. I write this in my journal several times a week.

Can you elaborate on these? Interested to know more if you're willing to share.

Bro, you will see real change in your life if you succeed in pulling a 3 months. You will be at a place you have never been before or haven’t been in years. Let do whatever it takes to remind our brains on what freedom feels like.

Very support your opinion, in fact, I am a supporter of Chinese medicine (Chinese traditional medicine) and modern medicine. I think the former comes from empirical, and the latter is from practice, I am very interested in the overlapping part of the two.Chinese medicine believes that FAP hurts the internal kidneys, causing spleen and stomach problems, indigestion, tightness, and the fire of the liver also become big, and when the excitement will affect the heart and lung, the ultimate injury is the liver
