Making sense of my sexual dream

Last night I had a sexual dream. During the dream I was acting out a specific sexual fantasy that I learned from watching countless porn videos in my past. The moment I woke up, I felt some shame. I felt like a monster for having that dream.

Looking back at it now, I know that I had no control over that dream. Therefore, I can't be hard on myself for having that dream. Yes, that dream was a product of my history of watching porn. But it does not define who I am.
