o7 New Fapstronaut reporting for duty! (sort of)

Howdy!

My name is Nerb5830, but Nerb is just fine.

Why (sort of)? Well, you see.. sometimes we fall off the wagon, so to speak. I initially found this group through a reddit post and joined r/NoFap as a reddit poster and karma enthusiast. Used the site and the chrome extension and experienced the best 21 day streak of my life. Then life happened and I fell out of the community.

Who? I just graduated university, and found myself quickly entangled in a full-time job. I work the overnight shift as a network technician (basically I make sure our companies internet service doesn't implode, and is ready for the other techs in the morning.)

Okay that's cool Nerb, but still.. Why? I have been struggling with porn use and masturbation for a large part of my life. It has been a difficult road that has led to a lot of hurt in my own life, as well as people I care about. I see a therapist bi-monthly, and I attend a support group weekly. My current work has me on my computer for long spans at a time (working remote and all), which means I deal with a lot of temptation!

What now? I hope to get to know more of you, as well as keep a sort of journal on this forum as a form of accountability and daily exercise. Since I work the night-shift its always a struggle for me to reach out to my IRL accountability partners because they are usually fast asleep! If anyone on here works late nights or just wants to say hello, my dm's are open

I want to reboot, and start my 90 day challenge.
