Dude you’re an amateur. Your relationship with your wife could never be as good as it would be if you weren’t walking around as a depleted half-man. It doesn’t matter if you drained yourself with your own hand, or your wife’s hand, or your wife’s vagina. You are addicted to sexual stimulation. If your wife decided to stop giving you sex, or got ill or something, you’d go right back to pmo. You are not the master of your domain. You have no control over your sexual energy. Read and learn about semen retention. At the very least learn how to have sex without ejaculting every single time. I bet you that’s your number one focus while your having sex and your wife just puts up with it. Learn to view sex not as a means to an end. Bet you can’t go a week without busting your nuts all over the place like a rabid animal. Try it and you’ll see what living is really like.

 

I agree with you! It was far more frustrating, and far more difficult to be married, get sex sporadically than it was when I was single! At least as a single person I felt that masturbating was a choice that only affected me and I had not made any type of vows to anyone else to be held accountable for. However, as someone whose sex drive was through the roof, off the charts, to use this as an excuse is just that, an excuse. My hormones drive/drove me crazy! Now that I’ve started peri menopause my drive has tanked! I told my husband it’s weird to not have a huge sex drive anymore. To not be wanting to jumped him several times a day, lol.

 

You should really post in success stories or something about your experience. I’m sure you had to employ more tactics than just relying on your vows to get you through 30 years with no masturbation.

 

Lol, I was never an addict, so I think its a whole different ball game. I’m not saying it wasn’t hard, but I don’t think telling an addict to “ go train your horses, work hard, and turn to God” is going to help much!

 

Yes I am an armature...im sorry I don't have the experience and knowledge you have...but im ok with that ...I joined this community in the hope that it would aid me achieve my goals and im doing pretty well ... I have my strategies and they work for me .

The problem is ....it does matter to me and it matters to my wife ...what you think matters doesn’t come into it ...and I don't mean to be rude ...every one has different beliefs and views and have priorities...my wife doesn't care what you think is right or wrong about these topics and neither do I..its our relationship and we are happy ...

I stopped without any effort, I didn’t have life altering/bad consequences from it, I wasn’t compelled to do it. An addiction is something you do that you try to stop or want to stop but can’t in spite of horrible consequences. I would say I had a daily habit but not an addiction. There are many things you can do daily that are not addictions.

 

I’m not sure you do understand, because I don’t think you’ve ever gone 2 days in your entire mature life without busting a nut. You don’t know what it’s like to actually be a man until you’ve experienced at least a few weeks to a month of abstinence.

I am addicted to pizza….. I can’t stop eating in spite of aching joints the next day… true story. At least I’ve cut back to once a month! Lol

That’s great, I stopped smoking weed without any effort several years ago. That doesn’t mean I wasn’t addicted to it. Life altering or bad consequences from stopping masturbation? Typically only good things come from that. An addiction is not only something you’re actively trying to stop but failing at. Many people are addicted to coffee and they never try to stop. Doesn’t mean they aren’t addicted. You’re coming off very high horse-esque here. Your story of how you went from daily masturbation to only 5 times in 30 years is somehow not worthwhile to the crowd which you’ve assumed for some reason is only made up of un-helpable addicts. Because it was apparently easy even though your previous comments said it was difficult. It seems I was right in questioning you further, your story seems to be changing based on how you want to be perceived.
