Recommendations for Blocking Porn on PC and Phone?

hi..i'm following this strategy for the last one and half years successfully..i sold my smartphone and bought an ordinary nokia handset with basic facility of calling and texting..then i need to use internet for educational purposes..so i bought a laptop and installed a good parental control with strong password protection..using this parental control we can create a list of websites we want to use and it will block all other websites..so we can use internet for education and at the same time we can't open the useless websites for one year

 

For your phone, use Bulldog blocker, it has a built in filter, you can block specific apps and it has a delayed unlock option. I'd also recommend getting SPIN browser and using it instead of your normal one, because it filters even mixed content sites like reddit or wikimedia commons. For your PC, I'd recommend getting Cold Turkey, but there are a lot more paid options.

iPhone has a feature that blocks ‘every website except’ fill in the few you actually NEED (not Google).

Ive been using this for a long time and it’s fantastic.

As for laptop: do you absolutely NEED it every single day? You could sell it and go to the library if you need to.

 

*** really is the best android phone porn blocker. Great features. It's just impossible to watch pornographic content with that app. They have a great customer service and they are not expansive. You can use it on 3 devices. Take my word for it. It's awesome.You van block specific sites and apps. Has many more functnions. Like an accountabilibuddy. It works for me andere millions of others. Questions for discussion/feedback: I scanned the other thread but didn't see Freedom - wondering if people have feedback on that, I believe it's one license that can be used on all platforms (so unlimited number?) that sometimes goes on sale.

Feature question: Are all of them based on a list of known sites or is there some key words that you can plug into an engine that's kind of "smart"? Because list based obviously leaves new sites open. I guess you can be more extreme and only have access to white listed sites rather than blacklisting...

 

Haven't tested that one, yet. Also, I am trying to list only free filters.

You could block keywords using Cold Turkey. Also, most of them are regularly updated like forticlient and Cleanbrowsing DNS.

 

I downloaded phone porn blocker app Blocksite which is a VPN app that blocks websites like porn websites.

 

tried that one. Not free. There are other good VPN apps like DNSCloak.

Rent out security deposit box in a bank and hide your administrator codes there. Preferably if you can only access with advance appointment.

 

It might work for you. I changed personally. My phone has VPN. I don't like porn to control me so.. I didn't block anything at all like *I previously did*. I stopped doing it because.. Then If I saw any porn or image I would relapse.. The problem was ME. I kept going on watching porn. It was my DEMAND. I've removed that DEMAND from my mind. Thus, I no longer watch porn. Can't control yourself? You might be having depression, stress or anxiety. Fix that and regain control over yourself. Once you do that. You can CONTROL everything. If you can't then you can block websites as you like as first steps until you can HOLD everything once again! Good luck!

 

For pc pluckeye is the best,kinda difficult in the begining but you will learn it
