I'm not even sure what happened. I was kind of seeing a dream, but it felt like I was awake at times there. I got O because of the dream, but I don't know if I was conscious while seeing the dream and willing to see it or not, so don't know if it counts as a relapse.

I don't even know how to express this feeling. Would you guys count it a relapse?

    No.

It sounds like what you experienced was either a wet dream or a spontaneous ejaculation. If you have eyes on porn and/or hand on self, that's a relapse. If not, you're doing fine. Keep the counter going.

Hi Sleepingbadger! Interesting question. I have read a few threads about this kind of thing. Well, in the Gettingstartedguide it says wet dreams don't count as relapse because we aren't conscious. But if someone becomes conscious, during a dream, and begins to willingly participate in the wet dream, is it a relapse?

Well theres one thing I learned after many lucid dreams. When I wake up, I can still realize despite "knowing it was a dream" I wasn't AS conscius as I am now, typing this. I was still uninhibited due to it being the dream state, with perhaps a trickle of awareness or determining my actions. Is that enough "consciousness" to call it a relapse?

For example I will often set a "lucid dream goal" like "tonight when I lucid dream I want to fly accross the universe" but when I actually get lucid within a dream, I just see a fridge, and eat some dream food. The intention I set in waking life never comes to mind.

So I think its a grey area and its up to you. Also, it sounds like you were unconscious in the dream when it began so its not like you consciously initiated it. Once you became conscious you felt like you willed it, but maybe it already had too much momentum anyway.

Either way look out for chaser effect! A period of increased urges after any ejaculation or sexual stimulus.

Thanks for your replies! I've decided to keep my counter going, since now when I think about it, all the wet dreams I've had so far have felt so real that I've had to think in the morning if I really did relapse. Maybe this one was also only a wet dream, but it was so late in the morning that it felt even more real.

Anyway, feeling already better now, so I think it wasn't a conscious relapse. Thank you guys for sharing your opinions! :)
