Special Gift for 100 Days Goal

You guys, this is really working surprisingly well for me. Lol I haven't really had any strong urges since I made this goal anyway, but any time the mere thought comes up, I'm like no! I want that steamer so bad! Lol I'm going to force myself not to buy it until that 100 day mark. And I can't wait!

I always thought of this idea too but I always think of how expensive it’ll be... it has to be something under a $100 and be worth it, for a lifetime, for me

It's tough, because I'm really excited for my financial goals that I'm trying to work hard on. So I'm trying to think if there is something special I can reward myself with, without resorting to just buying stuff or spending a bunch of money. But I suppose, if I keep it at a reasonable price, buying myself a small gift for 100 days isn't too crazy, and it might feel extra special now that I'm living on a more strict budget.

There is one big thing I definitely have always wanted to do, that may be a good option for a year goal. There's a YouTube channel stationed in LA that sometimes does live events, and I've always wanted to meet them. A trip to LA wouldn't be too insane, cost wise, since I'm in NorCal. So perhaps I can consider that, if they have another event around that time. Problem is, they usually only give like two weeks notice before a live event, so that's a bit more spontaneous than I am used to being.

Another idea might be some kind of spa package, I remember hearing right after the fire some spas in Napa was offering ridiculous amount of services for like $20.00, not sure how it is now though.

Yeah, I thought about that. But I don't really enjoy spending money on things that are over so quickly. It seems like a waste. I would rather have something I know will be beneficial to me for a long time, rather than just a few hours or so.

The steam cleaner sounds a great idea. I'm thinking of a posh violin bow for me, but they are pricey!

I would definitely recommend that it be soemthing you're super excited about and don't want to wait for. Seriously, this 100 day goal has saved me a couple times in the heat of temptation. I'm like "but... I don't wanna wait another 100 days for my steamer... :/" it really works! For me, at least
