Subconscious strikes back - Fap related dreams and how to understand them

Early in my streak I dreamt I was fapping and stopped. I was encouraged by it. I think it takes time for the subconscious to process a significant change in thinking and habits. I wouldn't worry about it. IMO it's a sign that your addiction is fading away.

 

Yes, Brother I too had a dream like this today. It was a strange one though, I was walking and someone called me and said to visit ______.com(It was a porn site) but guess what, I answered back I would do anything but would not do this!

 

Ow, I hate those dreams. They happen to me a lot after longer periods, and in the morning I feel terrible because of them. Luckily, if you immediately focus on something different when you wake up, you can easily forget the dream. At least, that what works for me.
Sadly, rarely, but still, those dreams end up as wet dreams. Those I hate the most.

 

I went through 2-3 dreams of sex in start of the streak... They went away ... Do the 90 days, this won't be a problem I think then ... Try not regretting this afterwords, it just makes it worse...

 

I've had dreams of eating ice cream or chocolate cake when I was on a diet, or drinking scotch when I gave up drinking. In both cases, I was relieved when I woke up. Like @Arc12 said, try not to regret this afterwards.

 

The sheets almost got wet last night due to a sex dream but as you say I eventually became semi conscious during the dream and stopped the scene playing out... I do have to say it was a close call.. but a success all the same!

 

I had the same feeling. It was like have I done it. How could this happen. Ohhh it was just a dream
