    Hey all!

    I've been keeping an eye on a few of these challenges, and love the sense of comradery in this one. Also being a big sci-fi fan, and in my childhood, an absolute Star Wars nerd, what an opportunity to join in!

    PMO has completely ruined me physically, mentally, and emotionally. Even the porn has become boring. I've been on a few no PMO streaks before, but nothing substantial. I'm just going to take it one day at a time, like the way recovering alcoholics do. No overall target.

    Just need to get used to how this forum works.

    I'll start where the challenge begins.

    Will I feel the pull from the darkside?
    Of course, I will. Especially since I came back early again fellow Jedis. You bet there will be.

    Will I make by this week or at least two weeks? Well we will see. I could fall by this week due to the same reasons from starting my last streak.

    Should I stayed in break longer? Maybe. I don't know. I don't like waiting. I can get impatient so I wanted to come back asap & start another streak again.

    • Tip: Stop thinking about women most of time. Again, it will start in the mind. If that what you thinking most of the time, well there you go. That's is why you keep relapsing often.
    It starts in the mind.​

    Learning as I go. Fellow Jedis it is all spiritual related to why you relapse. In case, you didn't know. Everything is spiritual related.

    You know what's funny, no matter the heavy the urges on P-subs eventually it will subside and I don't have the urges to do a full relapse. I'm good, it's just my main issue again is the no P rule here in these challenges. One peek to P then full relapse because we are in Hard Mode rules. Yes, Revanthegrey no P-subs for you buddy because you can't handle it :emoji_ok_hand:

    It's like saying just because I can handle 1500 mg of caffeine doesn't mean that another person needs to do the same. My tolerant for caffeine is pretty high. Obviously, it will lower if I stop taking it. But naturally, I am tolerant. Same with P-subs. I can look at P-subs for quite some time and maybe even longer. Doing that, it will turn into medium/high urges but eventually it will stop/decrease for me. That's just me. But I still wouldn't recommend doing what I do. Some individuals like Revanthegrey equals instant relapse lol...:emoji_laughing:

    Too long of a message. I'm going to try to keep this brief every check in as much as possible.

    Ok, let's keep going fellow Jedis. Let's get that 500+ days streak :D:p

    Day 30 checking in!

    New rank: Jedi Knight

    This is not the end of my training, it's just the beginning.

    Only 3 days to beat NNN.

    First time I've gotten this far this year, I feel better, more confident and energized, I feel like I get more done throughout the day; Every time I feel an attack from the dark side I remember how far I've come and that pushes me to keep going.

    Welcome!

    PMO has been a bane to all of us, the dark side of the force whose sole purpose is to destroy everything it touches, but we have decided to stop being victims, fight against that evil force, get ahead, embrace the light.

    It's not an easy fight, there are no "shortcuts", but I guarantee it's not impossible either, I guarantee you can do it, you can get rid of that problem.

    Some tips:
    Boredom is your worst enemy, having nothing to do and being in front of a laptop or cell phone is the cause of many destroyed streaks, the good news is that there are hundreds of things you can do, I'll give you a few examples: exercise, go out walk, listen to music, sing, dance, draw, paint, read, write, learn a new skill, learn a new language, learn to play an instrument, socialize, learn programming or repair electronics, etc.

    Never peek, if you ever catch yourself saying "one picture won't hurt" then immediately dismiss that thought, I guarantee once you see that picture you won't be able to stop yourself, your brain will start looking for more and more excuses to keep seeing more and more, and before you know it, your streak will be gone.

    At some point you will face the flat line, at which point you will feel increased irritability, general apathy, tiredness, low libido or mild cold-like ailments, that is perfectly natural, it is a sign that the brain is successfully rebooting, these symptoms They'll disappear without a trace after a few days, but only if you stick with the streak and abstain from pornography.

    NoFap is the path, not the goal, when you start this lifestyle you will have more energy, confidence and time, the key is to use that to your advantage and work on yourself, think about the short and long term goals you want to achieve and work on it, replace bad habits with good ones.

    Remember, pornography is any image, video, text or audio that seeks to cause you sexual arousal, so if you keep watching provocative videos on Tiktok your brain will react the same as if you saw explicit videos (if you have that social network, please delete it immediately , you will do yourself a huge favor).

    The key is one day at a time, keep going, you have everyone's support.

    a night of alcohol again. my kriptonite.
    it was a good streak seeing the state i was before that. i keep the positive things and gonna fix the bad ones.
    i will not dwell in the darkness. im restarting my training again.
    jedi knight will became a jedi knight again before this year ends.

    @CosmeFulanito Congrats on Jedi Knight!
    I'm impressed. I remember you kept falling but I liked your attitude. I keep telling JEDI KNIGHT and the rest it is about having the right mindset.
    That's the way to go. Will I see 60 Days or 90 Days? :) Keep going fellow Jedi friend.

    Coincidentally, while I was in progress writing this. What have I said before, drinking alcohol can lead to your relapse. Drunkiness can lead to PMO/sex. Sex is ok if your doing no PM I guess on Hard Mode. And I would like to just add just because you are busy most of your days doesn't mean you will succeed 100%. That includes extra curricular activities such as working out at the gym, sports, reading, volunteer work, and such in such. I have encountered from other challenges that there are real addicts. I am not as bad compared to others. I am doing my best after all but I need to vigilant every day. Small openings by being by yourself equals relapse for most people. Even some individuals that have known/seen in the forums that have 200/400/500+ days will fail in my situation guaranteed. Remember, I am mostly by myself fellow Jedis. Put me in cage (Like Logan in The Wolverine movie Hiroshima prison) but with a computer including other devices in front of me is my situation 6+ hrs everyday. I'm not trying to brag but this is my situation most of the time. There is not much I can do for me atm. I have to deal with it. And on top of that, it is hard to not do cold showers because previous posts I got shivers like as if my body was shaking. It's getting colder so I can't freely do cold showers. I had to skip the gym because of that. I guess cold showers at night is out of the picture for me unless one day through this season is warm/hot randomly here where I live. You can do this Jedis. Let's go. That's it.

    Picture me in this prison hole like this or a prison cell but filled with P items and access to the computer with internet alone. That is my situation everyday access to internet & time to do the deed if you understand what I mean.

    @JEDI KNIGHT I see, I didn't know that was a kryptonite until you said that. I'm glad you kept going while I was in my last streak. I can feel you were struggling. You still have time to make it to Jedi Knight just as I am before 2023. I know I am going to do my best to reach Jedi Knight rank first before moving forward. Angel. relapsed again? Every Friday, he says he relapsed again. Hmm. Let's go fellow Jedi.

    Kryptonite, a poisonous radiation stone. Ironic how that is also described for drinking Alcohol as well :emoji_grin: Don't do it. Just saying.

    Thank you for this @CosmeFulanito ! A brilliant summary which I think will help remind us all of what it takes to transition from NoFap as a struggle, to a simple lifestyle choice.

    You're absolutely right, and now I need to reshape how I perceive myself. I'm not necessarily a NoFapper (a tag, a brand name), but someone who now doesn't partake in watching porn or masturbating (a lifestyle choice). Easier said than done, but one day at a time!

    I guess I will share this. Trying not to trigger anyone as best as I can.
    Two days ago, I was earlier thinking of two ladies I encountered while buying and picking up. I was attracted to them. One was younger with her bf (20s to mid 20s). The second lady, was around her 40s - mid 40s. First one is my type & favorite but was with her bf. While the second woman, I don't know I started to get aroused. I liked her too. I was thinking about them for a moment yesterday. I'm getting aroused by them being there. Yes, I wanted it and to do "words". My urges was raising because of thinking about them. What did I say, it starts in the mind. Remember that. It could have led to PMO fellow Jedis. I didn't do the deed so I think I can handle it. Considering the fact that I came back early from my last relapse. Urges started to increase while they were there. Ironically, they weren't wearing anything enticing. Weird. That's it.

    Another update, I'm receiving a new phone and it will be delivered by Friday. A phone will not be my downfall. No urges at all to do the deed. I know for some if not more individuals says it's their kryptonite. Nope not for me. Just saying. :)

    @JEDI KNIGHT Angel. deleted it again. Not sure why. Maybe because of more relapse? Just as I said to you, I also believe in him. Be well fellow Jedi bro. I'll still be here.

    Actually, I am giving a reconsideration to stay and to a couple of tries on Hard Mode. Since I already add/change certain things regarding challenges. I want to test out something. That's all I have to say. Just going to do my best every day. That's it.

    The darkside is always there. My temptation came upon me two days ago. Yes, the darkside was pulling me. Let's keep moving fellow Jedis.

    I forgot to post yesterday about making it through day 1! This is my first real attempt at breaking this addiction with help rather than doing it in my own. I’m feeling really motivated and committed to changing my life and strengthening my relationship and marriage with my wife! I’m motivated in lifestyle changes to better myself and taking the energy from the addictive urges and making something positive come from them rather than giving in. I’m looking forward to going in this journey with you all!

    going to restart with the personal missions. i know i didnt acomplished any yet. but they gave me and insight of my limits im gonna make it easier this time and sustain them. consistency is the key of progress
