    22- Hobbit, steadily moving forward :emoji_ballot_box_with_check:

    Today I had day off and other than workout, swimming, some home repairs and usual stuff I put time into this website and big chunk of gratitude-related threads from past. Seems like having systematic approach would be extremely good thing to do when it comes to appreciating things more-do you by chance have any tips&tricks how to be more grateful, especially in everyday situations?

    I am also thinking about some gratitude journal and adding side quest related to doing some gratitude based on present day (more side quests!:D)

    Day 124. Feeling a little sad because one of our kittens died. And still a little tired from yesterday.

    I don't feel like doing exercises but I know that every time I start doing them my mood changes to workout mode lol. So gonna start in a few minutes.

    I use an Android app called Presently to record a daily gratitude entry. I made a macro in Macrodroid to automatically show the app and prevent me from dismissing it until I fill it out. This is probably overkill but I like tinkering with automation. You could probably just set an alarm. I do my gratitude entry at 12:34pm because every moment counts :)! It definitely felt forced at first but gratitude definitely helps me feel better each day. There's definitely a lot to be thankful for!

    Yesterday was a tough day, full of triggers and urges. But I sought Jesus' presence and I passed through it.
    There's hope in Him!
     
  6. Day 3 complete!

    I've been away from NoFap for a few days just because of a full schedule. Thank you @Slider8 and @LuckyMan for your words. I did go to confession so that I could receive the Eucharist Sunday morning! And it's ironic that you mention urge surfing, since that's something I often advise other people to try. I guess I need to be better at doing that myself. Most of the time when I fall, the urges come upon me very quickly and powerfully. That could mean they've been building up for a long time and I'm terrible at recognizing them, or that I simply need to build up my urge-surfing "reflexes" so that my mind is in control before my body can gain full control.

    It’s a pyoderma type of bacterial infection, nothing too serious, a week of antibiotics and it’s almost gone. I am not sure how I got it, I am only making an asumption that it is from BJJ because I got a little pimple like lump in the biggest infection affected area since the first day of BJJ. And I did get squezed at that area :D

    I still sometimes look at arousing non porn pictures. From today I will stop doing it and focus on resting without the phone.

    It's been a while since I made it here and will see how this goes further. I will continue focusing on my writing and the revelation for the layer of reality, about which, I still have a hard time accepting that it is barely seen by many. A lonely ride on these plains, but I'm sure there are others, even more than I can imagine, I just did not find em yet.
    Anyway, life... NoFap... Meditation etc, are not hard, but less easy. Getting used to taking the less easy path than the easy one will help you much greater than thinking you are doing something hard. Of course, this does not mean complicating easy tasks, but being aware when you are taking the easiest path because of one's innate laziness, as that one will slowly get one back to his original form.
    Anyway, yesterday I ate a greasy pizza yesterday due to an unfortunate series of events and the schedule keeps on changing, giving me the opportunity to test if taking the less easy path will help me further.

    Day 289 no PMO. I had a good day at work yesterday. My team had decorated the office for Christmas so that was nice to walk into.

    Yesterday i got a terrible case of brain fog, i'm proficient at binomial theorem and couldn't solve a single problem. Today i'll try to study again as my finals are already here, even if it is just 30 minutes, at least its something.

    well, what i do to handle brain fog is drink tons of water, really a lot. then i blow my nose several times. that helps refreshen the brain.

    but there are more complete techniques. check out austin goh on youtube about brain fog ;)

    Checking in Fellowship!! :)

    Had lot´s of emotions yesterday at work, but i stayed away from dangerous situations and everything went allright. still at night i drank 2 beers, and eat several sweets. it was like i was decompressing from all those emotions, not the best move i know.

    Today i feel a bit tired and foggy (as expected) but i will do all my self-care habits. and i already did them all as planned for today :D : cold shower, meditation and workout ;).

    now i´m gonna relax and have fun, maybe watch a movie later on.
