I was watching a movie yesterday (Project X) I started it alone, then my brother join me. If I know that movie will contain to much nudity scenes, for sure I not started to watch it. But, managing the way to remove that thougth of my head. Low urges today and with a lot of work. Keep strong my brothers!

My quest began this morning when I took off the ring. While its image is still present within my mind, I use it as a reminder of the consequences that will follow should I put the ring back on. A wicked flux of anxiety hit me hard not but an hour ago, but I feel much better experiencing the sadness rather than burying it.

Another slow day of essay writing, but just come back from a stag night - strange to think that 5 years ago I considered 11pm to be the beginning of the night, whereas tonight I was ready to head home by 10pm!

Urges actually plagued me quite a bit today, felt tempted to look at social media with the intention of finding girls I was attracted to. To top that off, I found out that my ex is dating again - don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy for her, but it’s just a weird feeling you know? I need to move past this phase and get on focusing on my own life - back to the gym in a day or two after some rest and then nose to the grindstone.

I don't know, Fellowship. I just don't know. Tonight I committed MO, though without looking at any triggering material. This behavior came upon me very suddenly and I do not see how or where I could have fought it off. I must own this action, but it doesn't seem right that I should have to when I didn't ask for it and would have said no if possible. Coming here day after day for a year and a half and seeing no progress is very disappointing. I could stay clean on my own for five days before ever finding this community. It's not helping me the way I hoped it would.

I forgot to post here for a couple of days. I am still a tired mess, but I do most things that I have to do.

Day 411 no PMO. Yesterday was a strange day. I was actually slightly tempted by this site. I need to remember that temptation can be anywhere. Years ago I fell to porn after searching for porn recovery videos on YouTube. After watching a helpful video YouTube then served me a video that basically was porn and I fell. Yesterday I was here reading all your posts and after finishing I had some extra time and started browsing some other sections of this website. Long story short there was some material being discussed that I didn’t even know was a thing. The thing they were discussing aroused me and I went on reading longer that I should have. I eventually realized what was happening and I got out of there. I’m not saying it was a relapse but it was a step in the wrong direction. Hopefully I have enough sobriety to stop where I am but in the past the temptation to “research” what they were discussing would have been too strong and I would have eventually fallen to PMO. I honestly think I’ll be ok but I’ll need to stay on my guard for the next several days just in case. New rule is I only read this LOTR challenge and the Christian page. Things get a little too lose on other threads. Be careful out there (and even here) everyone. I’ll be praying for us all.

(Day 2)
My sleep was restless last night, an expected issue brought on by the habitual sensitivity of constant PMO'ing. In times prior I often worried about falling at these moments, given that they're when I'm at my most vulnerable. Though still orcish, I pray the Valar grant me the strength to push on.

 

Yeah agree sometimes appears a Balrog on them hehe.
