Hey everyone. Sooo my wet dream are really frequent now. I have them even everyday if I sleep on my stomach and this wasn't the case before. It all started after my relapse after my longest streak of 31 days. And since it's only worse and worse. Any idea why? And also any helpful tricks to reduce them. Thanks a lot.

There is a post from @modern milarepa that helped me. You basically become aware that it is a dream and contract every muscle down there until the urge to have an orgasm goes away. He explained it well in his post so I recommend searching it up from his profile.

I do not have them anymore. I am not a lucid dreamer. I just become aware of the fact I am going to have an orgasm and I do the lock up thing with muscles. Every time it is about to happen I just become aware of the fact that it is a dream. This has worked ever since I started to try it about few months ago. A lot of almost wet dreams has happened since, but not a single ejaculation/ actual wet dream. Practising the muscle thing before going to sleep with the intention of doing it if there is a wet dream coming helps. Also a mindset that I do not want to ejaculate in real life helps.

  7. I've had dry dreams in my early parts of my streak, where no ejaculation occurs. Now, that's stopped too. In previous attempts, I used to frequently experience wet dreams, but nothing so far this time. I'm doing the following things:

1). I take Magnesium and Arginine in the evening. My dick has strengthened significantly, and so has the bottom of the shaft, which is my trigger.
2). No water one hour before I intend to fall asleep.
3). Peeing 10 minutes before I relax for bed.
4). I don't sleep with one leg in, or one leg wrapped around my blanket. Adds too much pressure to the genital area.
5). I'm on a very strict Keto diet. Low salt and low sugar.

I tried it and it worked. Doing it in bed before sleeping a few times helped. Also the mindset that you do not want to ejaculate. Also not lusting etc during daytime.

to resummarize for my own practice:

    PRACTICE:
    1. practice tensing up muscles just before going to sleep and just after waking up
    2. while tensing up simultaneously build up intention of shaking yourself off while in dream state
    3. keep daily dream journal
    4. not too much workout, food or water/beverages 3hrs before sleep

no worries, i'm actually reviewing my own review as i get a bit more into practice again; i'm gonna add one more point to the list:

    0. most important is the intensity and frequency of intentions accumulated throughout the day;

So far i noticed that that i heaven't used the step 1. more then few times - the journal was very little too -
about usual is one simple sentence about a dream (or just noting of whatever little i could recollect from it)
i did pace myself a bit more carefully with beverages and food before sleep, and i did start to see benefits
    over the last few days:
    - dreams started becoming more clear
    - my wake up at 4am became more consistent and even, it's not uncommon to wakeup before alarm goes off now
    - just having the sincere intention of keeping healthy sleeping environ, feels almost like casting a spell of mental ease, the vibe of ease settles around the bedroom around the sleeping times, and gives much clarity, its like wishing yourself a well-rested night, each time you go to snooze offf.

How do you guys execute the contraction down there to avoid wet dreams? Is there a mental cue that helps? I’ve also struggled with wet dreams in the past, maybe every 10 days on average. They are an extreme pain.

if you are sexually active - practice karezaa, if you are living solitary - you got to guard all the sense door from enticing impressions, set a strong intention before sleep by repeating to yourself number of times to hold back on things - catch yourself every time when you drift off into some fantasy or another - redirect your thoughts to work or spirituality or talk to a friend - just don't let yourself escalate on those fantsies, and don't overeat or overdrink before bed, don't oversleep either, get up early,
a bit earlier then you feel comfortable with, work till exhortation by the end of the day - that's the practice in the nutshell... hope it helps
