I totally agree with all the points you mentioned my friend. In my case I created an unshakable belief, I will never go back to Porn again, I am currently on 71 days (my first time on nofap) and I want to keep going until I get back to normal, Porn never again, it is poison to our brain.

Personally, I even think that there should be more studies on Pornography and how it destroys many people's lives and our brain.

Yeah brother, but my grandmother wouldn't get it. And so will many others. The only way the status quo can be changed is if we as a community do our best to get the word out.

  10. I'm still fighting to stay above water. Those 2 recent relapses are still being felt as I'm entering the 4th weeks of nofap.
Today neither was good or bad. I had a lot of mix feelings. Moods were up and down.

  11. I think lack of women in my life which make me heading towards PMO. I do have a lot of feelings for the opposite sex. I remember back then, I used to watch some p scenes and felt fine. However, I have to leave pmo behind due to consequences. The withdrawals, lost of zest for life, unable to enjoy things, paws, flatline... They're too harsh and severe to stay in them.

80-90 hour workweeks? So you'd be working 12 hours 7 days a week? That's borderline idiotic. Life isn't all about work yknow.

you sound like the type to shove positivity down everyone's throats. I agree with some of what you say, but lay off abit of that false positivity. bad things and negativity are also healthy and shouldn't be seen as something to constantly avoid or fear.
also circumstances, feeling like shit due to a real chemical imbalance isn't something you can magically will your way out of, same as any physical illness, you can't walk on a broken leg through will power right?.

I assume its just a shitty depressed feeling that drains his energy when he's awake? I felt shit yesterday due to a cold I'm getting as I've just started my new job, I coulda easily tore someone apart because of how worried and quick to Anger I was. I got a shift today and I'm fairly anxious but who cares, I'll still go cuz I'd feel worse not going.

If you believe, that you should feel "bad ridden" every morning, you probably will. If you think that getting rid of porn is difficult and almost impossible, you won't probably achieve it. It's all about mindset in my opinion. And false positivity you say? Well, it's better than depression and anxiety.

You can simply unlearn the bad behavior in your life and start reprogramming little by little. You must at least be ready to do the same effort that you have to get hooked in the first place.

And yes, I can relate that escalation to extreme levels of pornography, takes the taste out of life and makes it seem bland, but nonetheless, there is a cure and that is to sever your brain from porn dependency once and for all without looking back. Go out and expose yourself to more of life, have more friends, aspire for future projects "Your own entrepreneurial venture if necessary" Go out and do what gives your life meaning. Trust me "Every one of us can find meaning in life, but we just aren't looking in the right direction."

If a relapse means anything, it is that you have strong cravings for porn and that you're trying to fight "Using the willpower method" and that simply won't work in this instance. And it is the case with every other addiction. Addiciton is a belief system, based on years of brainwashing and incorrect subconscious programming.

What you need to focus on is to gradually remove the brainwashing from your mind, to view addiction as it is, as "Not pleasurable, and to avoid it"

We all can remember back when we were teenagers "Porn didn't seem pleasurable to us" because that is how we were wired naturally, so what you gotta do is to do whatever is necessary to get that same innocent mindset back and chase the pollution away.

I highly recommend, reading books on psychology, addiction, subconscious reprogramming, socializing, cold showers, workout with friends, fasting"this one has great results overnight", but don't overdo it, for me Twice a week is more than enough to keep my sexual urges at bay.

If you want to learn some more, I highly endorse you to check my website landing page, where you'll find the 10 commandments to quit porn for good "URL = Quitfappinglivestrong.com"

I also have a free EBOOK guide to quit porn that I display on my website, you can download it for free, and it resumes my 2-year struggle or experience with this "Porn addiction thing"

Best of luck brother, and feel free to start a direct conversation with me if you need any tips. I am always happy to service my fellow fapstronauts.

Im self-employed and im building security for the future. My business is a means to achieve financial freedom for all family members. So i sacrifice time and energy now (+/- 5 years) for security, time and energy later (for the coming 60 years of freedom).

Dont you think those 5 years are worth it for 60 years with absolute freedom for yourself, and by extension all your family and descendants (im creating something which automatically leads to wealth multiplication over time).

I would rather say that working for someone else your entire life, and sacrificing all hopes, dreams and freedom you might give to yourself and your family, is borderline idiotic.

There is no false positivity. You clearly underestimate the power of the mind. You can walk on a broken leg if your mind is strong enough (= trained) to curb the perception of pain.

Additionally, my posts were ment to shake the OP up in the hopes that he would jolt into action. In no way am i trying to "shove positivity down someones throat".

The antidote to extreme pessimism and negativity is extreme optimism and positivity. That is what you have witnessed here.
