I was on a pretty good streak of 18 days before last night where I willingly went to a site and saw some porn pictures and thumbnails, no videos atleast. I didn't fap or tried to. After a few minutes I realized what I was doing and immediately closed my tabs and went back to sleep. Because of that behaviour I had some strong urges in the morning. I'm glad I didn't fap but still I regret seeing those filthy pictures. I wonder whether I'll be able to break this cycle of addiction?
Try to put down the computer when you get the urge to go on a site. If you spend too much time mindlessly scrolling Facebook it can lead to urges too. Being active helps. Try going for a run or read a book
I wonder whether I'll be able to break this cycle of addiction?
You have already made great progress. I'm glad I didn't fap but still I regret seeing those filthy pictures
You have already made great progress. I'm glad I didn't fap but still I regret seeing those filthy pictures
Thanks mate!
The internet is terribly filled with porn or arousing pictures, popping up where you expect them the less. Try using a website blocker to block all porn sites you usually visited. Cold Turkey is a good one - but be careful, you may need to open these sites to copy the link, so do it with your mind entirely engaged so that you don't fall into their trap. Also avoid mindless surfing, it weakens your willpower and leads to relapses. Good luck mate!
What you're saying is totally agreed! Mindless surfing often ends up at a porn site. Thanks brother I'll try the blocker.
