I am also trying to improve my sleep quality ( REM ). I believe sleep is the most important factor for recovery. Im using GABA supplements before sleep. Just curious to see if it helps.

I find it strange that people like Gabe Deem or Noah Church still believe that some people need to " kickstart " their libido. It makes no sense.

Same with my case, insomnia disappeared first.

Yes rewiring is a myth, i believe that. I've wasted years of recovery time, thinking No PMO alone is not helping and rewiring is the only key, if i need to keep moving things forward. O with patner always made me feel like shit but i kept doing it, hoping I'll get pass that and recover, but in vain. Now that I've tried everything and wasted 3 years of my life stuck in flatine trying everything, it is my understanding that time and time alone will cure this, nothing else.

Guys have you tried tea to heal some of the sluggishness/tiredness? Does it work?

Yesterday prior to sleep I felt so sharp fot a while and I also had mutiple Pr0n Flashbacks - I killed all the thoughts right away.

I still feel like there is something inside holding my brain from proper thinking.

Does someone feel the same ?

Yup. It's the nature of addiction. Those thoughts and memories will always be there. The best we can do is allow them to fade as much as possible over time.

I'm starting to think that my problems centre around neurotransmitter levels, and GABA, rather than dopamine, may be the one to focus on (or maybe all overall neurotransmitter levels). There are diets that promote it, which I am slowly trying to find the energy to look in to.

A new problem that I've been facing very recently is that, whenever id go to sleep, I'd lay on the bed and some sexual fantasies/thought out of nowhere would hit me. Ig it's pretty much happening on its own because I don't actively try and think of a situation. And I'd start getting an erection, not a proper one, about 50-70% as the case had been throughout the recovery. And post that i start feeling numb in the head, like i feel brain fog. I have never experienced brain fog after fantasies ever in these 3 years. Also in this current streak of 7+ months this has never happened. Why is this suddenly happening? Could this be that lidido is returning? I would love to hear y'all's opinions/advice, please share. Today this this happened for the 2nd time in the same week so I'm a little concerned. Also from now on I'd try and divert my mind whenever a random sexual thought hits me.

P.S- The fantasy doesn't have any pornstars/actress in it, it is my gf that i think of.

Perhaps it is a good sign, who knows...

To be honest, i don´t remember what a natural libido feels like. I guess we need to make a distinction between dopamine cravings and true sexual desire, they are not the same.

Don't think so, unless the tea has caffeine.

Guys, a month ago I relapsed. Since then I started to feel more sensitive. I get an erection if I speak to a random woman and nothing in my mind. And the level of urges has never been like this during the day. Would this sensitivity pass? is it normal? is it something related to premature ejaculation?

In my experience whenever you start a recovery process after a relapse, things like random erections etc. happen before everything shuts down again, and that's when the healing process starts. It's like the brain goes in sleep mode again and you're manhood goes limp and shrevilled again. Then after a point you start seeing positive signs like your morning wood returning again.

Hello guys - hope you are doing alright!

Do you feel like being low when it comes to your cognitive ability ?

Do you feel like you have problems of memory and that you forget things quickly ?

And do you feel like your focus is a little low as well ?

Do you also feel like there is something within your brain holding it from thinking ?

This is what I'm feeling right now, is this what they call cognitive impairement ?

I'm feel like I have a slow brain, but not like it used to be.
It's still not yet at it's best performance.

Hey warriors. I'm back. Relapsed three months ago. Needed time to process what happened, so I haven't been on here in a long time. I missed this community a lot. Long story short, paws got to me. Got covid and ended up relapsing. No excuses, it's all on me. I let myself and a lot people on here down. New chapter. I am back for good. Glad to see a lot of you guys are still going strong. Paws is honestly as bad as I could remember right now. Insomnia, forgetting everything, extreme low stress tolerance, low IQ syndrome, dense brain fog is at an all-time high. You guys know the deal. I guess that's what I get. Marathoner's pace this time. Baby steps to recovery.

Good to see you back. You have let noone down. It's a learning curve. We simply relapse until we don't. Relapses is where we learn the most but you already know that. :)
P.S. just noticed that we fell on the very same day. How curious :)
