Keep yourself busy through the day with constructive work, thoughts, hobbies, exercise, which should also tire you enough to get you to sleep when you hit the bed. Avoid hitting the bed till you are really really sleepy. Avoid any triggers of PMO. Stay positive.
You have to learn how to be still while having urges. You can't constant distract yourself 24/7. I know sometimes the urges and feelings get overwhelming but it's part of the process.
I guess you're right, if I distract myself with something to avoid PMO then I might just end up addicted to that. Still, I feel like If I hadn't watched a film and binged on TV today then I might have relapsed. I suppose it is, as you say, part of the process. Umm...okay, that sounds like something that people would do, but a little explanation?
You're doing great all ready. Only two more days until you hit a week! Do things that take time and an amount of effort, that way you are engaged and less likely to get bored. Stay off of the internet. Do a damn good job mowing your lawn, vacuuming your floor, making your bed, organizing your clothes, cleaning your bathroom. Do 50 pushups. Run a mile. Blend up some vegetables in your fridge and drink it. Cook a good omelet with different spices. Learn how to tie different knots, master an origami design, learn to do a back flip, play with your pet, go fishing, pick out an outfit for tomorrow...
Cold showers: arrest the blood flow reducing erections. being quick, help you stay in the bath less, thereby reducing M possibilities. make you run/ exercise to counter the cold, thereby increasing the energy levels.
Ahh thanks, I knew people did stuff like that I just never knew the exact benefits. Very helpful, I shall have to try! Of course, I've done this sometimes on holiday, I just get real pent up and spend hours jerking when I get home and feel disgusting after. I also did this once when I'd arranged to meet up with my then gf, we planned to kinda get things on so I edged like every day for a week beforehand thinking it would help me in some way. It did not.

Thanks! 1 week isn't too big of an achievement, but it's an achievement nonetheless, and I guess I should be sort of proud. I will try for at least another week, the first week hasn't been too terrible, hopefully it won't get too much harder. Maybe I can go for the 30 day challenge....
