Thanking the Lord for another day of mercy and grace… Another day free from the strong hold/addiction of porn and lustful desires. I did however have a bit of anxiety to overcome. Took my eyes off Jesus and started looking at the storm around me. Have to refocus my attention on Christ. His blood has freed me from all my sins so the accuser can’t keep beating me up.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.

Matthew 14:25-33
Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It is a ghost!" And they cried out for fear.
But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid."
And Peter answered Him and said, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water."
So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!" And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?" And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, "Truly You are the Son of God."

Isaiah 26:3 is a great versus for when you're anxious (and easy to memorize because it's so short!). I memorized it a long time ago and I still say it to myself a lot.

I always thought of it like crossing a small beam across two buildings. He's on one end of the beam looking strait into our eyes and saying "look at me... focus on me... do not look away!". We focus on him and we'll be okay, we look down and we're in trouble.
