I enjoyed watching the AFCON more than I did the Asian Cup. Sure, it's cool to see frontier countries play and get more into football, but my God was it rigged from the beginning. Qatar gets 3 penalties in a final against Jordan, while playing in Qatar. And the next is held in Saudi Arabia. It's boring to watch.

The EUROs will be exciting, I quite enjoy it. Spanish TV crews were in my city last time and I was in the background at a bus stop. Hoping we do ourselves proud but my gut instinct tells me we'll finish 4th in the group. :((

I could ramble on forever about football, it's one of those sports that absorb your entire life.

Stay strong. Take care of yourself. Video games aren't good for recovery. Eat and sleep healthy. Stay away from social media YouTube, Facebook, Instagram etc.

I want to learn how to draw and learn a language, but that is hard without the Internet and I succumb to doomscrolling as I always do.

You can always join courses which teach languages face to face not online. Real learning is better than online courses if internet is the problem.

I just use a ton of extensions to block all that stuff out. When you have so many, you don't want to delete them in case you muck up so it acts as like a barrier to relapsing. I haven't seen P in months, even when actively trying to find it.

I had a splitting chronic headache during lockdown due to my poor health, and that instantly went away when I was in the countryside. Building fences, picking food, teaching my nephew how to play games. I felt alive.

Why is it I suddenly have clear thoughts and no brain frog at 1 O'clock in the morning? Seriously, I'm about to sleep and I'm having some deep introspective thoughts rn.

It’s a tough situation, but congratulations on the upcoming graduation. Are you looking forward to university?

University? I'm not rich enough for that. I'll probably be working at my brother's ice cream shop part-time. Unless I land a sweet deal through my college course then that is my future. I don't have the smarts, the credentials or the money for university. I am doing a university-level course but that's only a pathway for the second year of uni.

My school doesn't do graduation ceremonies, we get a day to ourselves then at the end get forced to leave by the staff. No handshake or piece of paper. Guess we don't have the budget, we don't have working toilets so it makes sense. They want us gone as soon as the bell rings.

I feel like garbage, I don't want a job. I don't want to be an adult. I am too stupid to function as a person. I can't tie my shoelaces let alone get a job. My credentials mean nothing, universities want 5 A's at Higher but give free entrance to migrant students who don't even have half of that because they have money. It sucks.

I give up, idgaf about my exams this year. For the first time in years I feel relaxed and comfy. I feel so old, where did the time go? It was all wasted stressing over this credentialist rubbish, so some employer can use me as a wage slave.

Ruined my chow mein takeaway too. £14 wasted to watch a game called off for incompetency.

Ordered a vegetable side portion of chow mein and got a beef one instead that tastes like it's been cooked with lukewarm tap water. I'm ordering a McDonald's instead, this is madness.

Great! I was sure you would love that. Chicken Malayan is basically the same with the addition of pineapple pieces. Chicken Kashmir is basically the same but with banana pieces. And the one that is a bit different (but even nicer IMO) is Butter Chicken. It is really creamy and delicious. ;)

My old barber is from the Kashmir region of Pakistan, he cooked amazing food. Always had cricket on the telly, wish I learned Urdu so I could speak to him. I'll give both Chicken Kashmir and Butter Chicken a try. Thank you IGY. :>

Many times my screen time is me trying to connect to my wifi since I live in a bunker, but also because I leave it turned on and listen to something while I do other stuff.

Maybe I'm just online too much since it's the holidays. I need to clear my head. Schools start back again next Monday and I have a week left before graduation.

I have time to do whatever I want now that I am pretty much graduated. I don't care how my exams go tbh considering I already have a college place. As long as I am happy I will keep going.

Alarm set for 7:15 tomorrow, I'll wake up, do my usual routine, take a cold shower, go for a walk and plan what to do. No more schoolwork to push me into backlog misery. No more dumb rote learning. I am FREE ! ! !
