Day 5 of no PM Day 74 of no alcohol or caffeine Day 41 of weight training - just letting everyone know I am alive and kicking ... THE HABIT!
Day 2/90. Had a reset this weekend, but I feel able to get back up a lot more easily than before. Hopefully I can keep this motivation going and continue to fight - for as long as it takes!
Sorry about these negative effects. Hope your life is improving again. You’re doing a great job with the restart!
I hope something fills that void for you brother. I have felt this feeling and it’s misery. Supporting you on your journey!
Day 27 I’m getting better at dealing with real problems in my life. Before it was all about whether I was a success or failure in regard to the addiction. One of my biggest/deepest issues is my cold heart toward my wife. I really want to develop a deep desire to be with her, know her, and enjoy life together.
well, when i read your "close call" post before and i watched the updated counter "oh fuck..." . try to learn something from that fall brother, especially around peaking, don´t you think? here´s my thoughs on that: "17 - avoid any kind of sexual stimulation. Anything that we consciously engage with a lustful purpose: engage in viewing, engage in hearing, engage in thinking, engage in touching... will make dopamine being release on the already unbalanced brain. stimulation will increase urges and deplete the motivation for other things (as PMO is still the main drive). So don´t believe your mind if it tells you to peak, it never wants just that. after that, the addiction will kick in strongly and start pounding until it breaks you. The same goes for edging. So it´s better to not even start. The ideal is to make a 180º shift on reality. Engage in totally different activities through the day. luckly there´s a million to do things that have nothing to do with sex. (...) "
strong truths on what you´re saying brother. i can relate to everything you wrote. let´s do this my friend, one day at a time
don´t push yourself too much. maybe it´s best to go to the doctor, have him prescribe some antidepressives or vitamins, it will sure help. also don´t forget to work out, exercise is great to boost the mood. hang in there my friend, we´re with you.
