I'm just reaching my first week of no P/M/O. I've started having extremely vivid and sometimes odd dreams. For example, I dreamed last night that I was watching porn, and it felt amazing at first, then I saw the angry face of the girl I'm currently dating then I felt extremely guilty about it. Such a relief to wake up and realise that I didn't need to reset my counter!

    Anyone else had similar experiences?

Yes me too. Just reached a similiar stage to yourself(1 week of no P, 2 weeks without PMO), and the last two nights I've had strange dreams - the first one was pleasant but quite explicit, the second not pleasant at all. I wonder what I 'll dream about tonight!:D

Yep have been experiencing this! My dreams are more vivid and rememberable. Hopefully signs the brain is rewiring!

In the beginning they were more on the risque side. After three weeks I had a very vivid dream about watching P, then in the dream I woke up that I was dreaming (in the dream, sort of like inception). I felt very guilty that I had relapsed, then I actually woke up, the whole thing was a dream and boy did I feel relieved!!!

I think it is the brain doing the right thing, reconciling what you want and confirming it is the right thing to do. Look, we all feel guilty about PMO and MO, we know we should be loving our GF and wives, not self pleasuring in such a selfish way, especially now that we know it interferes with our relationships. No one wants a shitty relationship. But there is no why you can continue to use P, PMO, PME, MO, or ME without harming your relationship. I hear people say, but MO is normal and natural. I have nothing against it, but, and a big BUT here. It takes away your drive for desire toward your significant other and that is wrong. Save it for her, trust me, what I have seen is that they start really being attracted and turned on to you. Probably because you are really into them and are doing nice things. It works!

Are lucid dreams even possible bro? One night I was having a crazy, and sad dream. I thought to myself "all this terrible stuff can't be happening". Then I became conscious that the circumstances were really impossible, and I must wake up soon. Right after that I dream for another few moments, and wake up. Very strange experience.

Lucid dreams are indeed possible. I had some. And it was amazing.

There are several instruction/tutorials on the net.

It needs some time that it works. Fr me it took if I remember well more than 1 month till I had sme kind of lucid dream.

I've only had one. It was very short and very vivid. In the dream, I accidentally O'd, and I was completely shocked not to find a mess in the bed when I woke up. (I keep wondering when that's actually going to happen. My body certainly isn't used to 2 weeks without an O....)

I've had lucid dreams both reboot attempts. It's starting right away.

Think about it for a second. You've been "medicating" with P. Numbing yourself and not even having a need to imagine anything... because you were dependent on the video to provide you these unusual images. Then you take that away. The mind has to do something now that it doesn't do that. What does it do, it become active... hungry... looking for some way to process something. You start dreaming, vividly, and guess what... your brain is doing work. First it might stuff related to your P habit. But soon, it might end up being hints and concept surrounding why you became addicted to PMO in the first place.

It's my belief that we picked up the PMO habit/addiction because we have holes in our lives, or broken pieces that we use P to numb. But through detox, and separation from that routine, our bodies are given time to adjust, conform, and fix themselves. The brain is so amazing. In order to change habit, we must understand the root cause. These dreams are likely an exploration of that, now that the habit has been taken away.

    Good luck brothers and sisters.

I think that is definitely a sign she is the one though, don't be a fool. Most people never get a sign like that.

  12. During my 100 days I had frequent vivid dreams about two ex gfs and other girls from way back in school(from when my PMO habit began). And yes, dreams about P. I had my first WD for a decade when I dreamt about the website I had been addicted to.

I know what you mean, total relief to realise it was just dream and no reset needed. I love having these dreams, they are proof that your brain is changing.

    Stay strong man!

I've started having weird dreams too. I hardly ever had dreams before NoFap, but now I have them a lot. Coincidence? Or ... WITCHCRAFT?!
