Also guys, can any of you help me with performance anxiety? How do i get over it? I think I have cured my PIED but all this period of recovery has badly impacted my mind and thus performance anxiety.

  2. I am no expert, but can offer some thoughts. I have experienced it, but when I look back, it had a lot to do with person herself and my own feelings. In one case, alcohol was involved, and the woman I and I were clearly cheating on her partner (although their relationship was a very open one). In another circumstance, it involved a girl I quite liked, but again, there was something not right about the situation. Finally, I have struggled with this in my marriage.
I think not being open and honest about the situation might contribute.
Also, let's face it, there are real medical factors involved. Some people say PA is all in your head. That may have some truth, but if it continues, I would seek medical help. Nothing to lose. Sexual activity is an important part of human life.

My first time to see an advice to avoiding meditation.

Can you elaborate? I have been considering starting it to help with my PMO journey.

I will give you my opinion, since I second the advice to avoid meditation during reboot.

Meditation requires some (mental) effort. This effort is stressful. You are already under stress if you are rebooting, and anxious. As a result, altho you may get some temporary benefits from meditation, your anxiety will increase.

I discussed this with other forum members in a thread that I would need to search for. Anyways, this is my personal opinion. Others may find meditation helpful in their journey.

  6. It's early for me to say this, but I think meditation has hindered my progress. I was all about meditation a few months back, but now I think longer meditation sessions of 20min+ are actually worse. There are posts about the subject so I won't go into the details, but all that blissful feeling is truly great, but it somehow backfires after meditation ends and anxiety will skyrocket as a whole. It may have something do with the rebooting progress as you said the brain is already under stress. I don't think short meditation sessions to control breathing and such will do much harm, but I'd avoid long meditation sessions. This is just my personal experience of the recent weeks, each to their own.

Meditation is not what you think.

You're not supposed to experience blissful feelings. Rather, you are supposed to feel how you feel, in the present moment, and non judgementally.

    Meditation is simply awareness.

Youtube John kabat-zinn meditation and you can lesrn more from the man, who pretty much made meditation mainstream, unintentionally.
