    hey guys!
    first of all, its soo good seeing so many active members on here, been a while since that happened. goodluck on your journeys bros!

    that being said,

    ive been going through a rough patch lately.
    its like my brain will give any excuse to watch 'just some more porn', which i know will never be enough.

    i just got over with a really important exam 4 days ago,
    actually i had started nofap in the first place to do good in that exam.
    now that that exam was over, i really considered relapsing.
    but i stayed strong, and didnt.

    i dont know man, i really do not want to relapse, but my brain just wont let go.
    just when i thought things couldnt get tougher, i had a wet dream about porn today.
    then after waking up, i just lay there in bed, thinking if i should just relapse.
    but i didnt because i knew relapsing would not solve any of my problems, it'll just increase them.

    any clue on how to make this easier? anybody?

    This will not be "easy" for a while. We as men have to be strong and endure the process. And im sure you were just stressed from the exams. You actually won your battle for today, you didn't relapse so good job.

    It could help if you set yourself a new goal not to far away in time, like keep the streak at least for what's left of the week or better an event that will happen soon. But don't plan to far in the future which events will be your goals, it just demotivates you to reach your next. You can do it bro!

    yeah bruh, i can do that, but do you really think planning relapses like this is a good idea?
    i mean, i planned to relapse 5 days ago, and i had to struggle so much not to...

    its just that i want this to be a bit easier.
    because till day 140, my journey was going on perfectly.
    but around day 140, i peeked and fucked up.. (did not relapse tho)
    since then these 20-ish days have been tougher than usual, i just want to get things back to normal..

    nothing you can do about it now bruh, start again, and keep pushing yourself!
    relapses are natural. so, dont be too hard on yourself, but also, keep trying to not relapse as much as you possibly can!

    I see, I messed up to express it in the way I ment it, sorry. What I tried to say was that you shouldn't look at the long-term goal, it's better to set short-term goals that you can reach easily (<-- how is it spelled corectly? With y first and then ie or i and or the other way around?). To reach a goal gives you the feeling of satisfaction and increases your motivation, what helps you to reach your next goal. If you take tiny steps and concentrate on taking the next step on your path, you will not see what lays far away in the future. For example if you're at day 1 of 90 days PMO-free and you concentrate on the first three days, you'll lose sight of 89 days you have to stay clean and see only the two you try to reach at the moment. After day 3 you say maybe lets go until day seven, that are four days and not 87. I hope, I explained it better this time. It's not about controled relapse, it's about to convince yourself that you don't have to climp a mountain but a small hill, what is pretty easy.
    Sorry for all the misspelling
    Anyway, stay strong bro!

    i dont think i will, it was horrible and i do not wish to experience it again.
    i just cant believe i used to do this multiple times a day just a year ago..

    Relapsed after 4 days. I found a porn discord on my phone. I have deleted discord on my phone right after i relapsed. There should be truly nothing on my phone thats explicit anymore except instagram.
