Day 17 What's working for me at the moment is when an urge arises, focusing on what I'm feeling in my body at the time, usually some kind of tension or discomfort. Then I ask myself, do I really want to let this temporary feeling rule my actions?
Day 36/90! This is going pretty good. Plenty of energy. My strategy was first to be victorious at a 3 day challenge, then 5, then 7. One challenge at a time. I didn't START with a 90-day! I built on little wins. Psychology of victory. Use it to your advantage.
Day 79/90. It’s a vicious cycle. We start looking at porn because it gives us a release of endorphins and it makes us feel good. Pretty soon we start to feel bad so we go back for more so that we will feel good again. What we don’t realize is that the porn is the problem (we wouldn’t feel bad if we hadn’t started watching in the first place) and porn is the solution (or so we think). The thing I’m trying to focus on is that porn is not the solution but just the problem. If you don’t believe there is any benefit to porn then it becomes a lot easier to resist the trap.
