meditation is good way to remove bad urges in your mind. I do meditation every day at night before go to the bed. We call meditation "Bhavana". Before going to bed you can watch fighting videos or yours favorite videos. So that these videos are in your mind and your dreams will be your favorite videos. I think this idea will help you Good luck!
Day 0. Resetting my counter as I said I would if things got worse. I peeked only once today, for the briefest of moments before coming to my senses, but later in the day I MO'd. I am good at recognizing my triggers, but not good at finding ways to avoid them. Boredom is the biggest issue for me. St. Christopher, pray for us!
Day 8 as an Orc complete! I somehow managed to push through my low "feeling" within an hour. That is a first! Today, I am worth the extra effort!" (i shall need that extra effort)
Day 5 Just got back home a bit ago so spent a lot of time on the bus today. It was good to see family for a bit, but good to be home too. I'm gonna have to keep busy though... Feeling a tad careless and I gotta correct that while I still can. If the weather isn't too terrible I might get some flowers on the deck tomorrow.
Day 485 no PMO. My Covid test yesterday was negative so today I can get back out in the world (with a mask). I’m excited to see my kids again. It has been tough not being able to hug my 10 year old. I’m excited to see so many people putting together long streaks! Keep up the good work everyone!
Finally 31 days! It was indeed a good month, I could experience a new level of freedom, even though I'm totally aware that relapsing is always in the horizon. I also have been feeling tired from my new routine, since classes started last week, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. One thing that is helping me to cope with that pressure is aligning my sleep schedule. Recommend you guys the reading of pslam 103, it contains deep and profound words that may help us.
17 days Low urges yestarday. I worked out and took a cold shower (today the water was too cold). I'm reading again the book 'Your brain on porn', I always have it in my Ebook and read it when I need some motivation. That made me remember some behaviors that my brain have and, helps me to have them in mind. With knowledge this journey always gets better. Today I went to take breakfast to a mall, and I saw a really beautiful girl, my cravings were strong for a moment (for like 15 seconds), I managed them focusing my sight to other place. The main idea in this journey is not to have tempation, is to know how to handle them. Keep strong my brothers.
Checking in Fellowship! Thank you so much for your support, means a lot . I had a good night´s sleep today and i feel better. Minimal urges so far, but my overall state is still low: low energy, some social anxiety and brain fog. but today has been way better than in previous days, so it´s a good sign on the right direction. To avoid anymore fishing attemps, i will stay around people today, and keep engaging in good habits. Here´s a deep newsletter from JK Emezi. Have a nice day brotherhood. Let´s keep going!! "Asking for sex Brother, When men ask me if they will be able to “masturbate in moderation” at the advanced stage of their reboot if they “don’t have access to sex”, it often means: “ I’m afraid of being vulnerable or risking rejection from a woman, so can I mask/soothe my fear of rejection with masturbation?” Whether you are in a relationship or not, you take a risk each time you initiate sexual intimacy with another human being. “Game” - which I define as competence with sexual & relationship intimacy often requires vulnerability. As you reboot, you get better at identifying emotions, and more comfortable with vulnerability. This doesn’t mean spilling your emotions to a woman. It means being able to express what you want and be ok with the outcome. Whether is initiating sex with your spouse after a busy week for both of you, or the woman on your couch after your second date whose body language you can’t quite read, it’s your responsibility as a man to take risk. Then, as with all things in life, you repeat till competent. Vulnerability = Better Game -.J.K"
