  8. After three days of not meditating, today I returned to it, by almost doubling the time. Previously it was 6 minutes, today it was 10. Best meditation so far. Looking forward to do another 10+ min meditation.

    Skipped meditating yesterday as I was out of my normal routine with a very busy holiday. I think missing a day of meditation was actually beneficial for me as I was able to reassess why I meditate. I still want meditation to be part of my regular routine, but I want to approach it as an activity I'm excited to do (something I "get" to do) rather than a chore I'm guilty about missing (something I "have" to do). I'm not going to force sessions in any more, but simply engage with meditation during appropriate/available times as an opportunity to accept a blessing, renew my spirit, and combat inappropriate reactions to difficult situations and triggers...still working 3rd shift and I used a guided sleep meditation today for assistance in going to sleep during the middle of the day.

    The sun crawled across the sky, allowing us to feel its mighty beams. When the earth was heating up, it was tempting to heat up myself as well. However, I could remain cool, calm and collected.

    35 minutes: external awareness meditation
    15 minutes: internal awareness meditation

    50 minutes of meditation - DONE
     
  13. Day 6 + 7
    -15 minutes of meditation on day six (evening)
    -20 minutes of meditation on day seven (evening)

    11 minutes of Wim Hof Breathing

    10 minutes of breathing meditation.

    I've been back to running lately. The weather where I live is finally appropriate for running outdoors again as it was way too hot and humid in prior months down here in Florida.

    I am keeping up with 15 minutes breathing meditation, but I am having trouble with walking meditation. It's actually hard. I tried doing it yesterday and the two days before that, but can't seem to focus on anything.

    Thinking of trying guided meditation today. Any recommendation would be much appreciated. My goal is 5-min walking meditation.

    Thanks a bunch for all the likes before.

    I really need to get back to a meditation practice so I commit to 30 days. 10 minute resting in silence meditation twice per day.
