I'm still getting over my relapse it really affected my health and especially my motivation in paws. It's sad seeing the counter this low. Still gonna fight!

  5. Do you guys find it difficult to think ? I mean like to process things.
I feel like my brain is not function and it's not sharp at all, I feel like it's just there and I'm in a similar way if not like Brain Fog.

Is this thing called Cognitive Impairment and how long does it last ?

In the throes of recovery, the mind often finds itself shrouded in a mist... akin to the ancient mariners navigating uncharted seas. This 'brain fog'—a temporary yet disconcerting cognitive impairment—stems from the tumultuous recalibration of dopamine levels. Its duration varies, but like Odysseus’ journey home, persistence leads to the clearing of this mental haze. Steadfastness is key.

  7. Thanks a lot for your reply, your answer is really helpful.

I listened to music yesterday - I couldn't sleep early yesterday due to it and today I feel a little weird when it comes to my focus and concentration and my monkey mind kind of jumps from a thought to the next.

This will fade away in about 3 - 5 days - but it's very bad to our recovery.

I'll stick to listen to music only after finishing all my goal after every 3 months.
If it doesn't work overtime I'll make it 6 months.

There is nothing beautiful than having a healthy brain capable of thinking and solving problems.

Indeed, the allure of music can be akin to the Sirens' call, enchanting yet perilous for those on the path of recovery. Your strategy to limit its influence shows a commendable fortitude. Remember, as in the myth of Hercules, true strength lies in self-mastery. Guarding the sanctity of your mind with such vigilance is a testament to your resolve. This journey, arduous though it may be, leads to a mind unclouded and capable of great feats.

How are you people with dysfunctional families holding up? Like those who have problems/arguments with the people you live? Is it tough? And how do you handle things?

For me it's been really tough and I can't say my opinions (due to paws). I'm completely numb and I just don't get affected even if someone has said something bad about me. The numbness and lack of understanding is really high. I do get upset sometimes but that's about it. No emotions, no feelings, nothing to say in my head and no thoughts come from my head.

  13. Try to take it easy @Ammar2 - remember we are your friends and we will do our best to help our friend, you are not alone in this battle! ;)

We will help you through this, jjst remember one thing, it's really though during the early days and months but believe me over time - everything will fall back into it's place! Stay strong Ammar.

197 days. Not a single hint that my brain will ever recover. I'm losing interest in the forum and the topic. The brain is most likely permanently damaged.

One major symptom that i am struggling with for about some weeks now is IBS, man it's getting to me, rest all the symptoms seem to have dialed down, like I'm not really affected by brain fog and stuff like that recently, but IBS is flaring up. Any suggestions to deal with IBS? Also, do y'all think the brain deals with one symptom at a time, like one of the symptoms would be a major symptom and others would be there but not as bad as the major one. Because in my experience, i had major insomnia which is gone now, then it was brainfog, which again seems to have become less sevier and now there's IBS, a symptom I've never experienced in past 3 years, every since I've started nofap. And i know for sure, IBS is paws related, because I'm living more healthily then i ever have in my whole life, I'm working out, drinking lots of water, going to the gym on the daily, but this just seems to happen randomly.

I also believe its a withdrawal symptom. Same case with me, it becomes more noticeable when going to sleep.

It will probably go away after reboot.
