    Okay guys, I have to admit: allowing myself to M was a bad idea at this point. I still think that in the future I should be able to do that without it being problem, but right now M'ing simply brings back the wrong ideas that I have about sex right now, and they bring me back to finding stimulation on the internet. I was doing pretty well for a week, but then M brought me back to 3 subsequent relapses in 3 days. Suffice to say, this is going in the totally wrong direction.

    So, let's try again. No peeking, no touching myself, for (that's the goal) another 90 days. A second 90-day streak, but cleaner this time.

    Can I get back in the listing again, now that I'm back to not M'ing?

    This is the probably the worst week of PMO I've had in years. Don't know how I regressed so much. I think I'm done now though. Better be, or I'll wear myself out.

    It is transference, or escapism (mentioned in the NoFap), noooooooooooo...

    I myself was starting to fall into overeating, caffiene urges, procrastination over the top, etc. etc.

    I took it a challenge to fix myself, and get busy with something else (myself...), and it waaaaaaaaaaay better than P!

    Hi. My name is gottabfree. I read the rules and I'd like to apply. I figured there would be a wait but looks good.

    Going to try to stay off my phone at night to see if they helps and brings things into balance It's not just PM I've gotten into a habbit of wasting time.

    I just wanted to clear my head and feel like I'm going to treat my commitments are real when I come back.

    I have read the rules and would like to join this group.

    Currently at 2 days. Did my prayer and reading this morning. Now using a digital calendar to manage my daily schedule. Looking forward to working out later a date with my wife tonight.

    I did my first cycle (no p and m only once every two weeks). There were a couple of challenging days but I got through them. I want to repeat the cycles a few times and then increase it to 3 weeks etc.

    I find that it was easier to get through a storm knowing when I could M again.

    again, I am not advocating M’ing. I am just working on setting manageable goals for myself.

    I have read and agree to the rules. 40 year old in Washington, would love to join this group. I've been "mostly sober" for years but have periodic fails (in the past 117 days I've tracked, I've fallen flat 12 times). I'm currently in one of these and having a tough time getting out of it--3 days in a row now and worried it'll increase if I don't take some action. I'd love to be part of an accountability group and, hopefully, get an accountability partner that I know is expecting to hear from me daily. About me: separated, with an amazing 4yr old boy. I love mountain biking, skiing, and generally being outside, playing guitar, studying Chinese, just because.
    Edit: I'm am definitely a porn addict, and have struggled with this since I was 14, with the worst of it happening in my young twenties. I can usually hold streaks between 1-6 months, but haven't yet managed to get past half a year. I think a lot of that has to do with accountability and relatability--others who understand the struggle. So I'm taking the step to be more proactive in that area before I truly fall deep into the hole.

    So i first joined NoFap on jan 6th. Had some set backs but still way down on the usage. Tonight will be 3 full days no pmo. The pmo between jan 6 and my current streak was way down. I am reading Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking ( it likes to auto correct to the stop smoking version but in case it does , i dont smoke and its the porn version)at the moment. My goal is not 90 days and my goal isnt as many days as i can before relapsing or slipping up. My goal is to be done with porn forever. Done with masturbation for ever if its going to lead excessive m or back to porn. Im still working this out as i have changed my plan since jan 6th. I believe i was setting myself ip for failure and acceptance of failure. Now my plan is to just not fail. It all sounds so easy to me. Thats the scary part as how can it be so easy. I think it all sounds so easy as im closer to my relapse than further away but why cant i stop. I dont meed the porn im just used to thinking i do. Hopefully ill be singing the sam tune on day4 5 6 7 ... 90... 300. But for now i plan on finishing day 3 like this and then onto day 4. Im definitely not confident however im mot scared either. My wife deserves a better me and i think i deserve a better me as well.

    I have experienced a dirty 90 before without PMO or direct stumulation of course but the intent and lust were very present and i couldn't wait to get past 90. My goal wasn't to give in but to stimulate myself incessantly, indirectly of course.
    Yes. It seems there is always something, and when that something is ceased finally, the cycle repeats, starting with M.

    This is true. Addiction itself is the enemy.

    The battle against addiction must be fought and won.

    Hey Friends,

    I am a 42 y/o male and have struggled with this issue for over 25 years managing to cross the thirty-day threshold maybe twice in all this time. Would like to join this group if there are spots available or get on the waitlist. My ultimate goal is to become porn-free permanently and make it six months without mo. In the interim, I am working on building thirty-day streaks until these become routine and taking the leap towards my ultimate goal. It seems important to mention that I also struggle with chronic health issues, an eating disorder, ADHD, and various other struggles including work stress, all of which exacerbate the struggle with PMO.

    I'm tired of trying to fight this on my own and am looking for that accountability and camaraderie and would like to offer the same. Consequently, if there is an opening here and you feel that I would be a good fit with this group I look forward to working together towards achieving our goals.
