I started withing a minimum time of 2mins because that's as long as my toothbrush timer lasts for and I'd brush my teeth whilst taking the cold shower. Found brushing my teeth a good distraction to the discomfort of the cold. As I've got used to it though I'm now in there for at least 4-5mins every day now
Yesss that's what I want to hear brother keep it going and lets get to 90 days together this time! Checking in on day 7. Couldn't sleep at all the last 2 nights despite being active all day... but this is a normal withdrawal syndrome for me at this point. Just gotta push through it. Still feeling great though. To minimize distraction from the present moment I now am trying the nuclear option and just got a flip phone (it has whatsapp though to not isolate completely) and on my computer I blocked all distracting sites like YouTube (which was a huuuge time thief for me for several years) with the app SelfControl. Lets see what happens. Stay strong everybody!
day 25. Record beat since i started this thread. I truly believe P addiction is demonic possession. It is not you. It is far more sinister. P can go down a very very dark tunnel, turning people gay or even do fetishes that people not want to do. @Darth_vader33 welcome back. Hope you're here to stay this time for real.
Just fought a huge urge. Watched an entire p scene without ejaculating which may seem odd to some people. But for me that's progress that I can do it. What's strange is differentiation of what's real and what isn't. I know watching my phone isn't real and if I abstain I'd more likely be able to do it for real with a real human however the urge is so big it's difficult to control. I've now noticed some key areas in my house to avoid tho. This is another small win
Day 74!! I used to think that cold showers were a lost of time and made you suffer for nothing but I started having them recently and surprisingly they do wake you up and get you in a good mood. It's like after taking one nothing can be as bad lol So, since the weather is super hot here at the moment I'm definitely going to do it more often. Plus, I read it's great for muscles after training.
Day 3 The urges are getting a little stronger today, but nowhere near my worst and I can manage. I definitely got this!
