    Day 58

    Yesterday was a good day. I was busy for my own business and almost forgot to Netflix. I saw that many things needed to be done and, when building a business, that will always be the case.
    Met my GF in the evening for a nice walk.

    Work-out:
    Took a long walk with my GF and did my short dumbbell workout. Finished with 25 push-ups. Couldn’t muster more.

    Netflix:
    Watched the movie Fubar. It’s with Arnold Schwarzenegger, but it’s kinda meh.

    Meditation:
    I did 2 sessions and spent 25 minutes meditating. Felt tranquil and quiet.

    Your Brain On Porn/Study:
    Read so many work books yesterday. And in the evening I managed to open YBOP. It spoke of regaining control. Building your streak builds confidence and self discipline. You gradually deny all PMO and feel over the course of days, weeks and months that you have gained control over your life. I feel the strength of newfound control every day and it is a bit addictive. I sometimes wonder what I can do next. My brain goes: Shall I do (regular or Dopamine) Fasting? Shall I limit my screentime even more? Shall I workout every day? But I try to resist that. It can take too much of me.

    Sleep:
    I went to bed later, but feel rested. I had the chance to do my routine and not deviate too much from it.

    On behalf of all members of this thread and thread owner @corylife, I welcome you!

    You are surrounded by friends. Good to wish to uphaul your life in various ways, but you need make it your daily bread and butter.

    What do you want to achieve specifically and which step will you take every day to come closer to it?

    Find friends/familymembers/SO's/therapists that you can daily talk to. Because that's honestly probably the only reason why I haven't relapsed. And remember there is no shame in admitting that you need help. PMO is a b*tch and you need help to defeat that bastard.

    By the way, I know that NoFap also offers group counseling. If there is no one available to help you, please consider doing this. It's really needed that you take charge of your life in this way.

    I forgot to check in for day 15... oops. Anyways, I'm back and day 16 is going good so far. Chaser effect after a wet dream is a bit rough to deal with, but earlier urges were tougher.

    Day 59

    Woke up with morning wood and it didn’t go away. It felt my dick was on fire. I don’t know what triggered it, but it didn’t cause any urges in me. I took a couple of breaths and had to make effort for it to go away.

    Went to mindfulness course yesterday and had plenty of opportunity to meditate. The rest of the day was spent sitting in the garden and enjoying the weather. I haven't taken my ADHD meds for a week as I felt more peaceful with myself, but my GF asked me to start yesterday again. The meds work great and I feel more vigor. I especially am more able to take my GF along in my process.

    Work-out:
    Went out for a run, took a long walk and did my dumbbell workout. Didn’t do the push ups.

    Netflix:
    Watched half an hour of Netflix. Was underwhelmed by Fubar, so I tried watching Black Knight. That’s a really cool TV show.

    Meditation:
    I did 4 sessions and spent 45 minutes meditating. 2 of the 4 sessions were at the mindfulness course and the other sessions were done at home.

    Your Brain On Porn/Study:
    I read about triggers. You can avoid trigger pathways for months, but the pathways will always again be activated when do the activity that triggered it. E.g.: when instagram is your trigger to do PMO, that pathway will be activated when you access Instagram again. Even if you haven’t accessed it for months. So beware!

    I bought a new book that is recommended in a different thread. The book is called Dopamine Nation and touches upon the overconsumption of Dopamine in our society. It also speaks about how we become a slave to our senses, because we actively chase more and more highs.

    Sleep:
    I feel great. Slept well and started my routine on time. Woke up at 5:30 and fell back asleep.

    Day 50. Feeling very good again after a low mood. I am determined to live free of anti-depressant medication. These 50 days have been a rollercoaster ride to be honest, and I have realised just how much I served P rather than it serving a purpose for me.

    Day 17. Urges are not present, but the quality of my day fell dramatically after I discovered that my crush blocked me. I feel awful right now and I had to force myself to eat as to not raise suspicion. What makes this even worse is that she was a friend of mine before this went down, so a failed crush and a lost friendship for the price of one, yipee. I got good grades on my subjects though, so that counts for something, right?

    Tough luck dude. That doesn't help at all in your process, but great that you didn't resort to PMO away your sadness. It sucks that it happened, but you will come out stronger.
