1059 words. Aiming to get this chapter done next week, as it is quite long.

 

I actually did this and just submitted my first short story there in over a year. I wrote it in under 2 hours and in one sitting which was lots of fun. Try to see if you can find it.

In other news, I've yet to move the chapter to Google Docs, but I did write over 500 words for a new article this morning and I wrote 6 haikus over the weekend haha. I've got 12 haikus for the month and I'll share one with you guys if you'd like.

 

I'd love to hear your haiku.

I think so! The structure of all your recent ones have been correct.

 

I submitted a query for fun to an agent that hasn't said they are closed but appearently doesn't read them.

That was fun but I wanted my first rejection so I sent one to an agent that only asks for a couple of fulls a year, but always replies.

It was a rush. Now I need to get the book done so I can follow the process for real lol.

I'm down about real life stuff but trying to shake it off.

2000 words today. I feel like I could finish the chapter this week if I rushed but I dont want to as the next few parts are important and I need to get them right. Monday or Tuesday instead I think.

 

I'm so happy to hear that! I've been making sure to check the syllables when editing and try to not get too boggled down by it. How many haikus have you written now?

 

No idea honestly. I just write them when I have an idea for one and chuck them into a document. More than 30 at least?
