Do small nofap streaks have long term effects?

    The reason why I ask this is because my longest streak is 11 days and I've been struggling to get a streak going that beats 11 days. I've been on the journey for a year now, and I often feel like those small streaks haven't had a huge affect on me... Until today. As I was walking home from the bus stop I did feel down on myself a little bit and having self doubt about my abilities and looks. But when I came upstairs to my home, I saw my brother whom I haven't seen in years, and after we hugged he couldn't stop commenting on how I look. Making comments like "Your acne has cleared up! Your hair looks great, you look so much older now! How do you keep the ladies off of you?! You look just like Papá!". Not only did that give me a confidence booster, but it taught me not to underestimate the power of semen retention. Has anyone else ever had this experience of small streaks but big results?

    First, there are no "NoFap streaks". NoFap is a commercial platform, not something to do.

    So what did you actually do for up to eleven days?

    This is a great story. I find it inspiring. And it sure looks like you answered your own question. Based on your testimony, I'd say "YES!"

    I opened your post not having any idea what my answer would be since I have wondered the same thing. My streaks aren't all that long either, so I was wondering if I was just fooling myself. Thanks to you, I realize that persistence is important. Never give up. Getting better is possible....perfection is not.

    It does depend, yes. You would see better results if you worked out too.

    But generally once every 1 to 2 weeks will not entirely waste you. Compare that to someone who does it 2 to 3 times a week. And compare that person to someone who does it 2 to 3 times a day.

    Still, you're tired, no offense. Pick up the pace if you want results...

    I do workout to build muscle and be healthy so I guess that helped with how I look now lmao. Sometimes I do beat myself up about not being completely free from porn and masturbation, but recovery isn't easy. I'll continue to keep up the good fight and challenge myself.

  6. Of course it helps!! Every cigarette someone has is also bad for them, but every day without a cigarette their health can increase! Good luck.
