I CHALLENGED MYSELF TO COMPLETELEY BLOCK OF THE INTERNET , EXCEPT THIS WEBSITE, NO NOTHING. I WILL GO TO NO WEBSITE . I WILL JOURNAL MY ENTRIES HERE IF I FEEL LIKE GOING ON THE NET. OR YOUTUBE. OR REDDIT.
I AM NO[T GOING TO SPEND MORE THAN AN HOUR LOOKING / WASTING TIME ON THE INTERNET.
IF YOU INTRESTED JOIN.
I WILL JOURNAL DAILY
 
I'm in, went a bit of track lastly. Clear mind is the best one can get, f*ck all the judgement. And no more excuses like
"Just one more time"
"It can help you get a girlfriend"
"Being updated" (more like being brainwashed)
And the list continues. This is just an escape.
Sometimes I get really bored while working so I'll just play an audio book. Also should be limiting the time surfing nofap too. Just once a day for no more than 5-15 minutes.
 
Day 1
I cue exposured YouTube, so I spent like 10 mins with it , thats it . And I sprent some time reading wikipedia. I am going to watch academia videos now . I did a LOT of pushups and spent most of the time doing nothing .....

I spent like 12 hours on this website in the past week. And my country went in lockdown so my screentime shot up almost 999%. Like from less than 1.5 hours to 10 hours per day

Happens man, I remember when my country was on lockdown I had alot of difficulties too. Do your best to spend your time doing other stuff such as reading a book etc.. (if it makes you bored try audio books). I fall too, and my country isn't on lockdown.
 
Day 2
Yesterday I spent very less time on Youtube. I have also made a plan . I have blocked all bullshit websites. And made a rule everytime I open YouTube , I will have to end it by doing pushups , like crazy amount of pushups, for whatever reason it seems to work

Why you don't turn off the phone (that is commected to our addiction) and you don't read a book?

I don't use my phone for anything
And I use this PC to study /watch lectures/ and I can't buy any books because my country is in a lockdown
 
Eventually you will need them. Face the urges instead of avoiding it. Then kill your urges. Eventually, you can do nofap with the internet
 
Good luck with that. I've been trying to curb my browsing since forever. Not sure if it or pmo is more difficult to get a hold on as I failed at both but I get the feeling that this is the harder challenge.

This what I have been workking on because theoretically I can go 100 day NoFap if I just go live in a forest or something lol. I think doing cue exposure or using filters will work.

I don't think it's enough to abstain and use it for a small amount of time, we need to understand how it works, how it works on US and have some basic understanding of the psychology around it. Of course some people don't care about the general internet compulsivity just NoFap so they will not be interested or understand.

I don't think it's enough to abstain and use it for a small amount of time, we need to understand how it works, how it works on US and have some basic understanding of the psychology around it. Of course some people don't care about the general internet compulsivity just NoFap so they will not be interested or understand.
Thanks for sharing, I always thought the problem was with me ,now I realize how big the problem actually is
 
I'm in on this challenge. I have been trying to do this for a while now but fail after some days. But this time I am positive that I will succeed. So I am challenging myself to not use the internet (except for study) in the next week. I am going to reset my counter and it will now show my progress with this challenge. I need to go one day at a time , so first I am going to try to go 1 day without internet. I will post my progress tomorrow night here.

This is a start and it will get harder after a few days but if I can beat P addiction then internet addiction should be easier and after a few weeks it gets easier as I have seen from my experience with P addiction. Also, all the free time I get I will utilize in healthy things, mostly studying. Will try to study at least 3 hours tomorrow and no internet at all, PLUS I also have a bad habit of sexting, so I am going to include that in my challenge as well . Not overburdening myself but not being to loose either. So three objectives for tomorrow and then the next week and essentially whole life, 1. No internet 2. Study three hours minimum 3. No sexting.

Goal 1. Not achieved but used internet for only half an hour which is not bad as it was my first day, will try to make it zero tomorrow.
Goal 2. Achieved
Goal 3. Achieved

For tomorrow , same goals.

Holy shit dude , I think I have another addiction, I spend like 6 hours on my phone instead of studying. Curbing it requires more than willpower. Thanks for joining in . I finally have some Accountability. Also I use blockers but when the blockers go off . I go binge like a mad dog
