Does watching a movie and a random girls naked being shown count as "porn"? It's hard to find movies/tv without naked women being shown in a few scenes. I always look away or fast forward. Just wondering if this counts as "relapsing" *note* I never masturbate even if I see the naked women

I've wondered, too. Now, it depends. (DISCLAIMER: I don't know the site rules, so I'm just going off my intuition). If the scene aims to be salacious in a pretty blunt way (gratuitous sex scenes, strip teases, etc.) then it's on the line, if not directly over it. However, if there's nudity, but it isn't really erotic, or if it is but with artistry/nuance/subtlety attached, then it's "safe" - although these things always carry a certain amount of risk to people like us. Like the above poster said, I'd probably avoid it, but if you're in a cinema and the rating is acceptable I'd say you're fine. There's an obvious reason why pornography is labeled differently than other films. For me, if there's clearly visible penetration and clear depiction of sex acts then you're really pushing it, if not simply tipping into pornography. Movies like "Dogtooth" or the "Nymphomaniac" series blur the line - I'd steer clear of such things. Otherwise, I wouldn't fret too much.

For instance, I just saw "Nocturnal Animals" recently. If you've seen it, then I'm sure you can see the nude scenes as "triggering" but I'd bet against that. The movie's terrible but I wouldn't say they used nudity in a way that'd break the site's expectations. Look, I'm an art lover, so I'm not going to go out of my way to avoid television and cinema, but the trick is to be careful and know your limits.

    Just my two cents.

I appreciate the lengthy response. What I see on tv is just a naked woman on for a few seconds. For example, I went to see Blade runner last week and there is a scene with a topless woman for about 1 minute. She's in duress so it's not like it's a sexual kinda of thing.

Yeah, I'd say you're fine. If you FEEL triggered, then re-orient your watching habits. Be cautious of what you're getting into. But if you're un-bothered by scenes like that then no judgment here.

i am on day 0. almost to 1 day. but i hope you get my point from my answer.

we are here, because we watch porn. the fake, unreal, acted out porn. why do we watch this, because we want to get aroused and ultimately masterbate. and we go out and watch it forcefully. we skip a class or skip a meal or skip time with friends to do this.
thats how bad our addiction is.

    so,...

if you come across naked woman on tv or movies...and you DO NOT pause the movie....open a porn website and and watch porn videos and masterbate....then you have overcome! you have succeeded... and done a good job!

and of course have not masturbate!!!

watching naked girls on movies is not the same as watching naked girls on porn.

if you watch a naked girl in movie....and you do not watch porn thats great!!
meaning you have beaten the urge!!! good for you!

do not feel you have fap! because you did not!!

my goal is when im 30 days or 100 days....i may want to tease watching naked girls....and see if i am able to look at it for 1 min and turn around and do something...like play baseball or go out. and if i can do this then i am on the right path....the path of not letting the urges kick in and make me open porn websites and watch porn videos.

    similar to this:
    - government people often hire "hackers" to hack in their websites....why? because if these hackers can not hack into their websites....this proves their websites are secure and safe. if they are able to hack in...then they have more work to do.

    - companies will often do a "drop test" on their products to see if they break easily. if they do not, then their product is good, and solid. if they break easily....then they have work to do.

    same on my idea:

after 30 or 100 days, i will see some naked girls....and if seeing naked girls...doesnt make me watch porn. ah-ha! thats good. meaning, stupid urges like naked girls...do not make me go back to my nightmare...so thats good...

worst case scenario if i do go back to porn...then i have work to do...maybe...wait 150 days before doing that...the next time around...or try harder next time....

    do you know why???

because there are urges all around us. running away from them wont help...but facing it...facing them face on...and seeing how you react to it is important.

today you came across naked girls in movies....

tom you may come across naked girls in tv shows...or topless woman on subway station poster....or sexy girl (almost naked) on a bikini store so on....these triggers are all around us...we have to see if our brain gives in to those triggers....

but we should not test them like 10 days or 20 days in to nofab...maybe longer...

For movies you can type the movies title before you watch it into Google, followed by parents guide, and it'll tell you how much nudity and sex to expect.
If you think it's too much...
    Simply Choose a different movie.

In my humble opinion "intent" is the answer to your question. If you actively intended to see nudity/erotic images then yes, that would be considered a relapse. It's the purposeful willing action that determines whether or not we relapse. The same goes for pretty much any sensory input that could be considered sexually stimulating. Intentionally seeking pleasurable stimulus is the line in the sand. Once crossed reset your counter to day 0, understand and learn from the experience, and move on. After all, we're only human.

Right, like I said, it's totally unintentional. Just random scenes in tv/movies and I look away. It makes me feel like crap even if I see it for 1 second. I'm On day 20 and this has happened on two seperate occasions. Im not counting it as a relapse. Never saw penetration. Just a topless woman twice

I hear ya. I'm assuming that crappy feeling you get is guilt you feel about your addiction. My advice, for what it's worth, when situations like this arise is just reassure yourself you're taking an active roll on directing yourself onto a healthier path and you didn't intend to see what you saw. It's just biology - nothing more.
