The reason why I can't stop relapsing

I've been pmoing at an insane rate since the previous year and I don't seem to stop.
You can imagine how much I do it when I tell you that I consider a day with only one reset a successful day. Yeah, I reset multiple times every single day.

But the reason I do it is because I know that after doing it I can start again anyway, "fresh start" is what I call it. And because of that I am never actually making any progress. Everytime an urge comes, I tell myself that it's okay and I'll start again tomorrow anyway.
It's because I have that option of resetting that I'm always stuck in this vicious cycle of resetting.
I could make it to day 2 in NNN only because I couldn't go back and reset NNN.

In order to succeed, you need a strong, motivating reason to stop. What negative things is it doing to you? Once you have your why then delete porn and porn bookmarks from all your devices. You will need to commit to this journey. Since your addiction is more severe than others I've seen, and much more severe than mine, I would install porn blockers on all your devices. I haven't looked at porn for more than 60 days. I plan to reassess my journey when I hit 90 days. To be clear, I will NEVER look at porn again. I have learned that porn on porn websites have a criminal behind-the-scenes element. Kidnapping, rape, underage sex, and lots more. I want no part of any part of that. The larger the demand for porn, the more these crimes will be done. That is enough to influence me to swear off porn.

By doing that you may spend your whole life thinking that your going to do it tomorrow.

something that may help to remember your mood right after you relapse is writing down why you shouldn't keep doing it anymore, and read it right away when you think that is just fine to do it again

  5. Pmo is a waste of energy. Put all that energy into more useful things. Pmo will never satisfy, I just a quick fix.

Having similar problem, trying to wrap up old games dispose of the nostalgia and move on with adulting, but I'm not gonna lie, it's hard as hell to go past 14 days.

  7. I have the same mindset when I end up losing my streak during the day. I just keep doing it at that day because it's day 0 and it can't lower than that.
It's a rough cycle man. You'll get through it eventually. Good luck.

Yeah, but do you want to be resetting everyday for a fresh start for the rest of your life? It gets old, and much in life gets lost and wasted when we don't enjoy a continual, ongoing freedom from PMO addiction, when life is real and ongoing freshness, much better than what's deemed as "fresh" start at day 0, somewhat of a misnomer, as we only feel chasers and nothing really of a fresh scent at all - the stink is still pervasive in the cesspool of addiction. Is that what you want for your whole life till you're old? There are many older guys on this site that have done just that, and you can easily be one of them with the "day-0 fresh-start" mentality. It gets old. It wreaks on the inside, so we need to cut the shit out. The sooner, the better.
