@Mr. Kruger Yes, All my health problems are related to PMO and started when I started doing it. I have completed two 21 day streaks hard mode and at the end of each streak, my blood sugar were normalized ... I literally went from being diabetic to being non diabetic ... but that was before my symptoms were not as bad as they are now. I'm 35 years old. It first started with developing high blood pressure because of the constant masturbation. The side effects would be feeling very tired, weak and I had really bad brain fog. I remember going to work every morning was a struggle. At that time I still didn't know that was related to PMO but I kinda suspected it and decided to keep in the back of my mind.

Then 4 years later, I developed diabetes on top of the conditions that I had. I also had bad leaky gut. I decided to go to the gym but no matter how hard I exercised, my blood sugar still wouldn't be quite normal. Then one day I decided to stop masturbation and after 11 days of exercising and no PMO, I noticed that my blood sugar were considerably better and I hadn't changed anything in my exercise routine or diet. That's when I noticed that PMO was related to my health issues because I was too young to develop diabetes and high blood pressure.

I started a thread on diabetes on this site, and some of the users who discovered my thread actually reversed their diabetes after going on nofap hard mode/ monk mode for a few months. They completely cured themselves.

Below is the link to that thread, it is a very long thread. if you started reading it from page 1 to the end, you will see the users who cured their diabetes by going on nofap. I consider PMO just as bad as drugs, if not worse. And this evil habit can eventually kill you.

I remember this exact feeling. When my PMO addiction was really severe, I would sometimes think I had the flu when I felt like that because a lot of the symptoms were similar. I always had the tiredness and weakness. I would even get chills sometimes, and I've heard other people on here say that shitty circulation is a symptom of PMO addiction. The delirious confusion/brain fog is one of the worst things I've experienced in my life. I always remind myself of how slow and inefficient the performance of my brain was whenever I get an urge to look at some of the sites I used to frequent; that usually snaps me out of an urge.

I wish you success in your NoFap endeavors, and I really hope your health starts to improve soon. I hope mainstream science begins shedding some light on the dangers of porn soon; I want as few people as possible to have to endure what we've gone through. I've even heard of kids as young as 10 getting addicted to porn these days, and a kid's brain at that age is so far from being fully developed.

@Mr. Kruger Developing diabetes and high blood pressure has definitely been a tough lesson for me. I promised to myself to never PMO again. I am doing this hard mode streak for a whole year to totally cure myself, even if I recover 3 months from now. I really hope all my issues dissapear so I can truly enjoy life again and work on my goals. I'm a very ambitious person but PMO came in the way. I wonder how many diabetics out there are ignorant of the fact that PMO is the root cause of their disease ... so many people still believe masturbation is good and even doctors encourage it .... I lost all the trust I had in doctors

I wonder the same thing about depression and anxiety. An increasing number of people are being diagnosed with one or the other, or even both simultaneously. How many of those people simply need to quit PMO instead of being put on medications? And if doctors knew that, would they even care? I get the feeling that they'd still prescribe the medications anyways to get their kickbacks from the pharmaceutical companies.

@Mr. Kruger Absolutely!!!! Doctors do not care at all. 100% of my doctors just couldn't seem to wait for me to leave the room like I was a nuisance. That's why you will never even see cures for all these chronic diseases, simply because there are no benefits in cures for the pharmaceutical companies. The only great doctors are those healing people via natural means. Others just prescribe you pills without even trying to get to the root cause of your illness.

My plan is to be PMO free for life, adapt a plant based diet without animal products and exercising regularly.... that should keep my health in check. I will keep this hard mode streak going on for one year. I am aiming for no single relapse whatsoever for one year. Does anyone know about your PMO struggles ? I chose to keep it to myself. I'm single so that makes it much easier. I would never tell anyone though. Too embarassing

My parents know. I would normally find it too embarrassing to tell anybody, but I thought it would be best to give them some kind of closure because I've been struggling with PMO addiction and the PMO-related health problems since I was around 13 or 14 (I'm 33 now). Back when this first started, my doctor put me on antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication without even bothering to ask any questions about my lifestyle. Long story short, the medications I was on ended up complicating things and making everything even worse, and I ended up dropping out of school when I was 15 because I was just a mess. Since then, I've only had three short-term jobs between the ages of 17 and 23. If I knew this was all caused by PMO, I would've quit in a heartbeat when I still had the chance; I just didn't make the connection and assumed I had something else wrong with me. Now I'm just left feeling like I had the rug pulled from under me because I never got the chance to start a normal life and probably never will at this point.

I'm not sure if telling them really gave them any closure though, and I worry that it might've actually made them feel worse because now they might feel partly responsible for not monitoring my internet usage more closely when I was a kid.

@Mr. Kruger You are so brave for telling your parents about your PMO addiction ... How did they take it ??? I hope they didn't tell their close friends. I can't trust anyone about such an embarrassing issue. I was a very ambitious kid in school. My PMO habit started to become an addiction while I was in college. How I was able to graduate college back in 2010 is absolutely beyond me and I was in a tough major ( Computer Information Systems), I somehow managed to graduate with 3.1 GPA. Looking back, I seriously don't know how I managed to pull through college with such bad health. I could have easily graduated with a perfect GPA if I wasn't a PMO addict ... Going to class was so tough, I was fighting with my body to just wake up, I was a terrible procrastinator. I remember I occassionally had bad anxiety and panic attacks, constant weakness and tiredness.

If you are 33 years old like your profile says, you are still very young to get back on track and achieve all your life goals.. I always remind myself about how PMO gave me diabetes, blood pressure .... this is what is helping me on this streak. PMO also made me bald ... lost my hair because of it. It does it to many people.
