Numb genitals - very depressed

    I had these symptoms (urethra burning sensation when peing and numb penis) in a first time (you can read the beginning of my first post). Then i waited few weeks and sensations came back. But the day the sensations came back i masturbated twice and then the current symptoms appeared.
    I think i'm in a worse situation than yours, and you are in the same situation that i was just before the day it started for me.
    I would advise you to rest, not to touch your penis, and not to masturbate/ejaculate during a few weeks.
    For me, i unfortunately think that i have crossed the red line...

    I'll follow your advice. I think my penis is trying to heal. Hopefully sensations will come back like yours did.

    Did you feel soft glans too at beginning? As if it wasn't connected to the base, no sensation, no blood flow and too soft and flexible? And went back to normal after some weeks? But you f up by masturbating again?

    All the penis felt too soft, as if it was disconnected from the rest of the body.

    Now i would describe the penis sensation as hardflaccid, turtling, shrinking. And base of penis very tight and hard. And testicles/scrotum no more hanging loose. As if a muscle spasm was always rising up the genitals, and making them numb.

    Hello guys. I made an account just to post on this thread.

    I am not really doing NoFap, but I unfortunately I have been experiencing penis numbness myself. I am sure it was due to a vigorous masturbation session and the consequence of not being fully erect. I went too fast, and was too horny lol.,

    Let this be a lesson to everyone not to masturbate in the conventional way. If you want to masturbate learn how to do a lingham massage on yourself, it's not hard. It's very safe - google lingham massage, plenty of websites that teach you how to do it.

    If you look into Tantric philosophy, you will see that masturbation is prohibited, but a lingham massage is not.

    dxoutkast that was a good supplement list. you might want to add in Zinc, Maca, Tribulus and Raw Garlic with honey on an empty stomach in the morning you will definitely see improved circulation with that. The bad breath can be cured with having some fruits after/lemon water. But it's totally worth it. Garlic has amazing healing properties.

    Frenchboy76 can we know what supplements you are taking? The supplements mentioned by dxoukast is a good start.
    Plus how is your diet, nutrition, sleep and exercise?
    You mentioned you were depressed? How is that now?
    Depression can affect the penis.

    You mentioned that you regained sensation after 2 weeks but masturbated again in the same way. The fact that you regained sensation means you can heal. But please never masturbate again. If you want to look into lingham massage, which I mentioned before.

    But you have to work towards it - supplements, exercise, nutrition (think lots of garlic, honey, onions and ginger - all of these have tremendous healing properties), coming out of depression/anxiety, sleeping well are key in your recovery.
    If you don't have these order then don't expect to heal.

    Also you can apply a hot towel to your dick 3-4 times a week, it's very good for circulation. And look into purchasing vitamin e/castor oil/virgin coconut oil and apply it on that area - that will also aid in regenerating nerves.

    Remember that the body has an amazing capacity to heal, and that you can heal. You have to believe that.

    I have some further advice with what yoga exercises and poses but first lets stick with the basics and let us know how you are doing on that. Thank you.

    Hi,

    I ended up on this site due to an injury I ended up having through jelqing. For a year now, I've been only stretching my penis, with seemingly great results. Easier and fuller erections. However, a week ago I performed other exercises as shown here:

    First round, about a week ago, went great and already achieved great results. Second round last wednesday not so much: There were red dots and a bigger red blotch visible on my shaft at the sides and bottom centre at two thirds of the length. I also noticed a numbness and coldness in my glans which deteriorated through the day.

    Today (friday): The red spots disappeared after two days, but the coldness/numbness remains. I also noticed my penis having a distinct bend to the left now.

    I'm afraid I've done some permanent damage here. I keep my penis warm and keep the blood circulation flowing by massaging it which seem to improve my symptoms. Also the bend is less distinct now. I'm taking vitamin C, B12 and omega 3 supplements.

    Reading this post and other forums has made me afraid of having to deal with this permanently. I'm seeing my physician next monday, but now I'm thinking I might have to go to the ER to have this checked out. What should I do?

    Hi, I am writing to you from Poland so I use a translator. Just reading this thread has calmed me down because I thought I was alone in the world with this problem :(

    I have identical symptoms. Once, on demand, it stood like a pole. Then something happened. Erections getting weaker when masturbating and finally even a problem during real sex. I am 33 years old, the problem has been going on for 26 years. I have done millions of tests, visited urologists, sexologists, psychiatrists, naurologists, I have resonance tests of the spine, head and pelvis. There are no changes and the problem is, I don't know where to look for the cause anymore, I think the problem is with penile innervation because I feel weak stimuli. Both in the place where it was shown here in the second photo (the place between the scrotum and the penis from below) and on the acorn. There, I have almost no feeling :(

    There are no morning erections and once they are weak, sometimes when you manage to have sex in the evening, the morning erection appears, as if something is moving and temporarily working and then again the state returns to zero. I feel a weak member once I had numbness in the testicles. Now it is gone but the feeling has not returned for so many years. I am looking everywhere, even on foreign forums. Has anyone managed the problem? I have an appointment with a physiotherapist in a week, waiting for salvation.

    Do you feel tension in the pelvic floor ? Do your testicles hang as they were ? Mines are always retracted and high....

    The base of penis feels weak.

    This is very interesting, my experience is extremely similar to yours. The difference would be that i didn't even notice the "disconnect" of my penis and went along for over a decade or even more.

    I did not FEEL anything during sex (oral or vaginal). It's like my penis stopped existing. I could tell it's there like you can tell an arm that went numb (because you slept on it) is there but that was it.

    There was not spatial awareness of where my penis was, if that makes sense. If anything it felt more like a nail (something that has no nerve endings).

    I too had various checkups and nothing was found.

    I used to get 100% erections even with this problem but in the last 2 years that no longer happened and i needed "help" from my hand to get firm erections. I also got peyronie.

    The thing is, i used to think that i didn't feel anything during sex because i was socially anxious, but i bought a realistic fleshlight to test this and i had the exact same experience (no sensation). After using it a couple of times i start getting some sensation. It is dim but it is there, so i am hopeful.

    I think that for people that start with masturbation and masturbate a lot but don't have sex .... they do not learn to "feel" with their penis but rather with their hand.

    I still feel that my pelvic muscle is tight, which is responsible for urine retention. If I try to relax it, I pee. I don't feel anything in my penis, neither how urine is getting close, nor how it flows when it urinates. My stomach hurts too.
    I tried to make a reverse kegel, but I have no control over these muscles.
    I have the impression that my problems began with changing jobs and sitting in a chair for a long time. I felt my buttocks speak. Sometimes I also fell asleep with a full bladder. I had a situation that in order to urinate I had to leave the house because these were the conditions. Sometimes I didn't feel like doing it, falling asleep with blisters full. I do not know now whether the body has made any strange changes and I involuntarily put everything together, and if I want to relax my muscles, my urine is leaking. I also don't have acorn sensation. When I touch the scrotum with a spoon, it is cold. When I don't feel for acorns. either either I have an injury to the glans themselves or my pelvic muscles have taken away the feeling of pressure. Once upon a time, my testicles were numb. When I was sleeping, I put a pillow under my knees because I felt discomfort. Sometimes the groin on the thigh also hurts from the inside. Most often after injection.

    I have the same problem like you guys, I live in Germany right now. I'm 26 years old. I did pmo for 9 year's. Now I have flaccid glans and weak erections all time and very weak erections standing up. I gonna go tomorrow to the university policlinic urology department. And I gonna make some tests. I'm very depressed about this shit. I don't know if this is a flat line (one month and 7days since last fapp-orgasm & 3 months porn free).
    So my question is: did anyone from you brothers, found something any solution?

    This happened to me in late 2017. It is now early 2020 and I've improved a bit, but am still not nearly to 100%

    My story is that I had a penis curve to the left and was upset, and I tried to bend it the other way by using my right hand and masturbating with a direction to the right. I'd done this for a few weeks. One morning, I woke up numb and with a titanic pain in my rectrum. My penis shaft was totally numb on only the top side of my shaft. I felt 0%. I had literally no Libido after this point for a while. Nodda. Erection was near impossible.

    Over the next few months, feeling returned, but going from 0% to maybe 20% feeling. After I went numb, I immediately changed my diet, started taking Nerve building supplements (B-6 and 12), as well as vitamins that improved blood flow and claimed Libido aide. I dropped 40lbs in stress in just 3 months.
    By late December, I could achieve an erection but not sustain it for more than a few moments, and it was weak and not full.

    Months flowed since, no doctors could help. Over time, I was able to regain erection quality however I still was heavily desensitized on the top side of my shaft. I cannot feel ice or warmth at all on the tip anywhere around it. Even to this day that part never improved, I cannot feel temperature on the tip of my penis at all.

    Orgasm for me is passable and the build up to it is more enjoyable than the final result. The feeling of one is significantly reduced compared to what it was. Rubbing ice on the top of my shaft actually takes a few moments for the cold sensation to register. Whereas anywhere else but the tip of my penis, I can feel it instantly and normally.

    We are now over 3 years later. I can achieve and maintain erection so long as I am constantly stimulated. Sometimes sex is depressing and I have a secret weapon, if I am stimulated often, I can last sometimes for hours. Sometimes I finish in a few minutes. I seem to improve slightly more and more over time, but its a snails crawl. In 3 years, I've went from 0% feeling on the top of my penis, to maybe 25% of what is normal.
    The feeling on the underside of my shaft and the sides and base are back to normal and feel like they did before.

    So what did I learn?

    You probably have pyronies disease and didn't know it. A small curve somewhere that was touched wrong or damaged while having sex or having fun. You broke something and that is blocking the nerves from reaching your penis in full.

    Or, you have a nerve cluster damage somewhere in there that is genetic, or a result of something...what that something is? I have no idea. Nerves do suddenly die for people in the world, it's not uncommon. It's just bad luck if yours did in that area, it came without a reason.

    B6 and B12 seem to cause my nerves to fire more actively. Combined with foods and vitamins that open blood vessels, some sensation should restore over time.

    For me, the build up, the teasing and such from a partner or solo, and staying erect for as long as I can, will lead me to a time frame of much much more sensitivity than prior. The bloodflowing helps a lot.

    However, as soon as I orgasm, I go back to being number. But, it wasn't always like that, the first entire year and a half, I would never get more sensitive after an orgasm. My Libido would vanish entirely. Lately, in the past year and half or so, I sometimes have an inverse experience, where I get more sensitive than usual and the pleasure is amazing. After a 10min break, or so, I can go again if stimulated enough. Usually after 2, I go numb again.

    So my recommendation is go see a doctor about penis curvature and see if there is damage that is causing nerve issues. Take B6 and B12, they shock the nerves into repair. Rub Ice on it for a few minutes in 10 second intervals every other day. One day on, the next day off to heal.

    Get used to masturbating and edging without orgasm. Every time I get get aroused and erect but do not finish, I stay more sensitive than usual for a longer period of time. I do that consistently, its hell, but for saving my nerves down there its worth the absolute torture.

    Its helping, but its slow progress. Started out at 0% feeling when this started, a few months later, I ramped up to 20% feeling. A few years later, I am more like 35-40% of what it should be. I am still unchanged in the tip, I feel physical tactility in it normally, but no temperature at all. My tip went from 0% to 85% feeling or so and has lingered there for almost 2 years. I cannot feel ice or warmth on it, and as mentioned, ice on the top of my shaft takes a moment to register.

    If your nerves are dead down there and not in a state of repair, you won't regain them and you have my absolute hearts sympathy, I was there, still am sorta. Sometimes I cannot stay hard for long, sometimes I can, I'm always scared, always touching down there to see if its more numb than moments ago. Its a nightmare.

    Doctors cannot help you unless you had damage they can repair and the numbness directly related to blockage somehow. If the nerves are already dead...they can't fix that.

    Have you tried taking a b complex supplement? You could be low in it if you dont consume enough milk or meat. This could directly cause numb penis as a lack of b vitamins wont power the nerves to your penis.

    Bro if it's that bad I would be looking at everything and anything I've been consuming. From the food you eat, the detergent or soaps you use, to the constriction of the pants you wear. You must be having some bad reaction to a chemical either in food or clothing.

    Hi Guys,

    I have been doing some research online and i think my problem is some sort of pelvic floor dysfunction because i have all the symptoms such as lower back pain. constipation, ED, constant need to urinate etc.

    what really got me wondering is that i noticed i get an erection a lot easier standing up then laying down.

    I searched online and what i found was venous leak. apparently it causes erectile dysfunction in certain positions because in those certain positions your veins leak out some blood that is needed to keep the erection. however people reported having the erectile dysfunction standing up not laying down where as i am the opposite.

    Anyone have this problem? if so please share as well as any success treatments.

    I am going to propose a different approach here and any criticism is welcome.

    A lot of my recovery is about PIED and DE. Although I have gone hard mode for 6 weeks with a dirty flatline for the first month. I’ve been having sex on about day 10-12 of each streak and although improved no DE, I still have PIED. The biggest improvement is I’m now seeking the real thing more. I now also am more attracted to females and it’s driving me to sex which is a huge improvement. My point is, I have developed a libido but I still can’t properly keep it up.
    After all this time off you’re telling me you have zero libido? If that’s the case then you probably don’t have a big a problem with your penis as you think, you’re just not recovered yet.
    Think back to a point where you were super horny, it’s intrinsically linked to erections. Also you have been assessed for significant causes of issues. Not a mechanical issue.
    Perhaps you are in a flatline.
    I propose the following; gentle MO once and again next day. See if it helps. I guess you can repeat this a couple times and see if it has an impact.
    I assume MO shouldn't set you back too far as PIED is related to dopamine receptors and u abstained for ages. See if it has some kind of beneficial effect. Perhaps it’s the spark that starts the flame. If not then go back to hard mode until you are horny and take sildenafil and have sex.

    I have just noticed that my ED is slowly being cured. I don't know the exact cause but i can tell you the lifestyle changes i have made. PLEASE READ EVERYTHING

    before the COVID-19 pandemic :

    i would go to the gym and workout very hard and excessively then i would hop into the sauna right after. I did this for about 3 days a week but i would not add much cardio

    I also had anal fissures/chronic constipation. basically what this is, is when your shit is really hard and you push it out it tears the skin on your anus muscles and then causes pain and makes your PELVIC FLOOR muscles very tight.     I would also walk around the house in my underwear which made me very cold down there without realizing it and also i never moisturized my penis before either.

    AFTER THE PANDEMIC:

    stopped working out because gyms were closed, i also was not able to go to SAUNA, I BELIEVE SAUNA WAS ONE OF THE MAIN CAUSES.
    Instead i went for a run outside. I also started taking fishoils which helps improve blood flow

    i also started taking sitz baths to help relax my anus muscles from being tight and avoid have more anal fissures.

    I also started wearing warm clothes around the house and moisturized my penis with COCONUT OIL

    Then i started getting intimate with my wife slowly with no pressure. she told me it's okay if she does not get pleased wanted me to relax and not be under pressure to help with my ED.

    and after constant practice with the KEGELS and pelvic floor exercises i have been slowly getting a lot better. erections are coming up easily and my libido has started going up and my wife is now very happy :)
